Nate Games are working on an update (as they mentioned earlier in this thread) and they already know about the bronze medallion bug (a skills-based bug); now people have been discussing the Killian's Heal skill bug (another skills-based bug). Those two bugs seemed to be related, so I'm hoping that they get taken care of at the same time.
Yeah I know about the update, I was just commenting on the bizarre way you phrased the quoted sentence .
power levelling for Gelts in short time I found that the exp are base on the damage you did on each battle. I also found that Doom Hammer of Gelts did lot of damage but use lot of SP as well. First I choose in moonlight dungeon to do power leveling, coz there is a lake to recover SP & HP for free. I keep using Doom Hammer of Gelts to gain huge exp in each battle especially it has 4 monsters... I up 5 levels in really short time to level 49, and Killian still at 45... hahaha~ sweet btw, the "Wrath of God" combination skill is actually a human foot that make me laugh for a while...
Has there been any word on whether Nate Games/IRONNOS will address the fact that only the last voice sample will play in passages involving multiple voiced textboxes? For example, let's say it's a voice acting sequence and Killian has three dialogue boxes back to back -- on the first dialogue box the voice acting that should go with his third dialogue box plays, and then no voice acting thereafter. Some players have used the phrase "content was removed" for the port in the form of reduced voice acting, but given the game's huge file size I find it hard to believe that this isn't just a bug. Keeping my fingers crossed, because the voice acting has been very good so far otherwise.
they haven't said anything in this thread that i've seen. Did you try their facebook page? I put the link in the first post, the devs are quite serious about addressing everything they can.
Best RPG i've downloaded to date for iPhone. Only a few hours in and haven't ran into any problems really. This is really the first game that feels like a full blown title. Chaos Rings was an awesome concept and the graphics were awesome, but it was rather shallow compared to this game.
I feel like the VO for only certain dialogue bits are intentional. Anyone have the PSP version here who can confirm?
I've been asking myself the same question -- most of the time the pacing of the dialogue feels natural. I would bite the bullet, but it's a $30 game on the PSP world.
I know the way around the bug. Like I've said, I'm not going to cater to a bug. I don't want to use ALL of my medallions on mediocre skills, just so i can level up the one or two skills that I'm actually willing to spend them on. It's a complete waste of items. I want to use one or two. You should know this. This is a great game, but I feel that you are reaching fan boy status. If I'm losing interest in playing a game, because of a bug, that's my fault? All I'm saying is that I'm not able to play the game how I want to, because of a bug. It is discouraging. @Bold; case and point. /
At level 40 you should have plenty of skills worth upgrading -- not just in one character, but across 5 of them. You choose not to use the bronze medallions, and that makes it tough to play the game. Well, it's your choice. Your original post came across as melodramatic, particularly the part where you pleaded with the developer to fix something that they've already said they're fixing; I thought my response was suitably exasperated. If I'm a fanboy of anything, it's titles that deliver a full gameplay experience on this platform. Crimson Gem Saga is one of them, albeit with a few issues. I feel that's something to celebrate, and perhaps treat with a bit of tolerance and understanding. You disagree, as is your right as a paying customer. There's really nothing more to say about that.
I also found a bug that the wizard aura of Henson is not working. The restoration amulet is not working neither.
Been watching this thread off and on and considering picking this up. Got the game on my PSP, and it's one of the few JRPGs I really like. Put in about 15 hours on the PSP version before one of my kids lost the UMD. Enjoyable enough that I'd consider replaying to get a chance to finish it. Can't believe how much better the price is for the iDevice version.
Quick question: in the PSP version, do the voice-overs go through all the text in the dialogue boxes, or do they stick to what's on the last box?
What one feels is worth upgrading is ones opinion. I get off on perfection, in this type of game. I save items and SP, until I am certain of their best use. This is a 30+hr game; not to be taken lightly, when you manage in all the time spent. I'd like to do it right, the first time. I'm not sure of everyone else free time levels, and I don't care to get on my soap box concerning mine. I think honesty in ones feed back, is more helpful then a slightly biased, but somewhat neutral opinion of a major bug. I have posted about it more than once, but I think it is invaluable to track how a bug effects ones game play, as one gets deeper into a game. Melodramatic, or not. Obviously, someone who wants precision and control over their characters upgrade path, will be put off by this bug. Someone who is more lax on their characters abilities and kills, would probably not be too effect by this bug. All in all, you can't expect everyone to have the sames needs from a game, then chastise them when they don't.
You're right. Though, to be fair to me, you sound a lot more reasonable now that you did back then . Also to be fair: I think it's less about being "lax" (you make it sound like a personality defect) and more about caring more about the overall experience of the game (the characters, the story, the neat graphical detail, etc) than in achieving a perfect playthrough. In any event, I can't think of too many RPGs in the App Store worthy of this exchange.
I tested "Restoration Amulet", it is working fine for me, it will recover 2 pt for every parites cycle (note: not every round). What I mean parties cycle is all your members (x4) have took action as one cycle. so "restoration amulet" is pretty crappy... just waste 33k
@bold... There are games that I am lax with. I'm not going to drill out a perfect first time through on some dumpy tower defense, or a short game title that I know I'll be playing through again in less than a week. Not much else to say on the subject.
