I'm going to run this like a contest - best level design gets to intern for us. The level is for Ultra Kid: Mystery of the Mutants Instructions: Design one 2d style Super Mario Bros/Mega Man style level, complete with powerups and platform ideas - physics/effects/obstacles etc by sketching or drawing it - extra points for a 3d level layout - but not completely necessary. What I'm looking for are mostly the ideas and decent drawing skills. Send it to me at [email protected] The winner gets to intern for the summer, and a nice gift at the end from us (and credit for their resume of course) The winner may also get his level featured in the game, depending on what changes it needs to accomodate the game story/particular planet, etc The winner also will get his level art shown in this thread and our twitter page, website, with credits etc. Go at it!!!
actually I'm more interested in ideas and sketches, than anything else. unity, 3ds max, coding is a plus though.
Hey I already asked you guys about an internship lol. I live about an hour away from you guys if you guys need an in-business intern. I don't have 3ds max skills but I do have sketches for some game ideas. I'll drop you guys an email when I get Back from my trip.
What exactly will the intern be doing? Is there any chance that an intern can significantly contribute to a game (and get paid fairly for their extra effort)? Seems like an interesting idea, I'll consider applying.
I wish I had the type of experience you guys want for an internship. As of right now, I'm going to be learning objective-c over the summer and hopefully starting on my first game.
You can't be serious. You wish us to make some concepts and ideas for you to use in your game and you don't even think about paying something for it?? No respected Level designer would think to consider this...
Is it ok if i have secret passages and other tunnels? can i just be free and make it as long as i want? thanks
this contest isn't necessarily for respected level designers. its for people who want to intern for us and get experience. (respected level designers are also free to enter)
