For those who have Rimelands, how much does it feel like "luck" plays a huge part? I know its dice based combat, so of course luck will play a part of it. As comparison, I tried Robotek (slot based game), and while it was fun..the luck in that game tired me out after a while. Also..would people consider Rimelands pick up & play friendly? Meaning if your standing in line and have a few minutes to kills, can you jump into a few battles?
... I knew I should've have listened to the people who said "Aralon will NEVER go to .99 cents anytime soon so buy it now!" Joking, joking... Kinda.
If I plan to upgrade my iPod later, should I dive into Aralon while I still can? There's a chance I might not upgrade, but I'm wondering if this is the only chance I have at Aralon at this low of a price.
Oh! These games went on sale because of the update of deadlock. By the way, is rimelands any good compared to aralon?
Haha.. I thought it was yesterday so when I go home, I kept checking the app store. Then read more closely and saw it was for today. lol.. Rimelands looks like its the right fit for me.
Its an RPG that uses "dice" mechanics to determine if you attack and if you defend I think. Sounds like as you level up, you can even pick to have more dice for additional chance for attacks or defend. Sounds like some weapons can also give you bonus. Try out the lite version to see if its your cup of tea. I've never played the tabletop dice roleplaying games..but Rimelands just feels like a game for me. I liked the lite version.
I hope that Pocket RPG for iPad goes on sale as well. Apparently Pocket RPG for iPhone will be released for $.99. I would like to see a Universal version of Pocket RPG.
