only enough money for 1 of them Which one is better in your opinions? Also, I really want additional DLC, so which game would likely have DLC?
The Creeps is the far more creative. And both are presented very well. I actually play The Creeps more often. Fieldrunners is a nice hype for people not knowing the TD genre very well. "It looks nice" But thats all.... It's good, no question. But the creeps is way more innovation and interaction...
i know you said only those to, but 7 cities is a great game. but if you dont want 7 cities, then go with the creeps.
i have both, and the creeps gets much more playing time, i was lucky enough to pick it up when it was 99 cents, but at the price it is now. its worth it
Creeps has a much more imaginative style of gameplay. Fieldrunners lacks alot. It looks spectacular, but once you've done the whole 'place a tower'...'watch 'em run'...'up-grade a tower', and (drum roll) yes, you guessed it...'watch 'em run', it gets pretty dull. Creeps on the other hand gets you to destroy obstacles, use tilt, and so on. Also, I like the way they incorporate both finite, and infinite levels into the game to cater for different tastes.
I have to totally agree with you. Not sure why OP doesn't mention 7 Cities, but that is by far the best one out there right now IMO of course... @OP Is there a specific reason you didn't mention 7 cities? There's a lite version, and lite version of Creeps. Creeps may seem more cutesy at first, and it is, but for longevity and strategy, I have to recommend 7 Cities. But, as ibelongintheforums mentioned, if you don't want 7 Cities, go for Creeps.
I have both, and I find myself playing Fieldrunners a lot more. The Creeps! is well made, I just don't play it that often. It's fun to see how different layouts have different results
so if it was between Creeps and 7 cities, would creeps still be better? I like how creeps actually use the ipod touch with his tilt etc
The Creeps is fast paced, soI play this for a quick 10 minute round. Fieldrunners on the other hand is great for extended play. Overall, my vote goes to Fieldrunners, But I love both (iTD beats both though)
I still say 7 Cities. But there is a lite version for both. Have you tried them both? In the end, I don't think you can go wrong with either one, it's probably a matter of personal taste. You really have it good as you can try both lite versions. If the tilt is the part that puts Creeps! over the edge for you, do it up. I have both, but I really think 7 Cities has more strategy and more longevitiy, and harder gameplay...
You'll get a lot more replay value out of The Creeps! than Fieldrunners for sure. Fieldrunners lets you create your own maps with the towers, but in The Creeps, the trails are already made for you. I think you should go with The Creeps! because of how much more time you'll spend on it than Fieldrunners. Plus, with the latest Fieldrunners update, it has made the game almost unplayable with all the crashing. Maybe after that problem has been fixed, then I'd recommend it. Get The Creeps. It has plenty of maps and towers. Lots of fun
Still funny. Poll is pro Fieldrunners. Posts are pro The Creeps. Strange silence of the lovers of Fieldrunners.
Because 7 Cities just doesn't do it for some people. I tried its lite version and don't like it, I much prefer The Creeps. I love and enjoy both The Creeps and Fieldrunners, but between the two I vote for Fieldrunners. You should've just got both when The Creeps was $0.99
The Creeps is an overrated game.. Fieldrunners is much more fun to play, although The Creeps is fun because you are rewarded for your performance. Personally I like them both.. I guess what the OP's intention was to pick out a "tower defense" game... why not include 7 towers? Who knows... but given one of these game to be stuck with for the rest of my life, i'd choose Fieldrunners because i don't like the art style and child-in-bed theme of The Creeps as much as i like blasting away people in Fieldrunners...
Peanut Butter vs Jelly I play Field Runners more, but certainly enjoy both. 1) Field Runners 2) Creeps 3) 7 Cities (I want to like this one more, but something does not grab me here)
