Wow, getting a good high score is a LOT tougher than I expected, but this game is pretty freakin fun! Any tips from you hotshots?

What level have you guys been reaching? I usually get overwhelmed by Level 9.

 

Just got to 15, and only my second time through the game....this game is really good, I'd give it a 8.7/10....great job dev!

 

omg all these attempts to get high score made me addicted to the game!
i cant even take a dump without blasting creatures with the rocketluncher.

 

I prefer the shotgun

I don't know about you, but did you seem to get a ton of points in the beginning and slowly get more as the levels progressed?

 

Yeah that's pretty much how it went with me too.

 

No fair, I got like 47k but I was at around level 15 or 16... I should have just stayed at level one..

 

You can't get keep getting points on level one, after you kill the amount of enemies for that level, it stops giving you points, I was at round 23-24 or something when I got my highscore of 89000.

 

You can however keep shooting guys just for the weapons/health.

 

What were your guys strategies? Mine was to just survive the "amount to kill" levels and try to get 2 turrets, then in the compressor levels I used the turrets to gain a lot of points since it's time based and theres limitless enemies. I used the normal gun through round 15 then started using the shotgun and missile launcher, for the compressor levels I used the rail gun thing.
