Hey Jarek Damn, you are right on about the shadow in the water! - That passed right in front of me. Actually, I use Photoshop CS2 and Cinema 4D 10 I am a photographer and graphic designer so whipping these up from scratch was pretty simple. I don't think I have a good shot at winning, but it was a fun little project! cheers!
The mark of a good artist when you can't tell? Seriously, though. Look at my larger versions. My wood pattern (not only texture) is way different than theirs. My texture in the typing is different. I forgot to add the skull at the bottom in the middle. My real proof is this, however. How would I manage to acquire such a high quality image from their little photo sample other than re-creating it. Another thing - The font is called 'Perry Gothic'. I searched and found it by looking at their small logo (hope it's right!!!) This upload is a .PSD file (below) with layers. I am not sure if it would download as one (I uploaded it to photo bucket first) but I would be happy to send it to anyone who challenges the authenticity of how this and my others were built. A good eye can clearly see this is not a copy paste, no doubt about that at all. Lastly, avoid text in a logo? Most EA games have text in the logo. Motion X, among many others. Glad Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto has no text in their Logo!!!

Crap! I didn't have time to mock up another one this weekend that is more "Candy" and less "Epic Movie" than my original submission. Good luck to all! There really was some great stuff in this competition. Everyone should be proud regardless of the outcome!
Thanks. It is copywrighted as all my work is, unless permissions are given. I always have fun when making composites or creating character/cosplay etc.. images. It is the vision of the final product before even starting, then when it is finished, you blow yourself away with how cool it turns out. Thank you Game lab for putting this contest out. It was FUN!!

Yes, You are right. So still we have to wait for another 5 hours 27 minutes. I wonder why did GameLab choose this time zone. Poland, GameLab's location, is placed in GMT +1 zone.
Unfortunately. No matter what - it's not in our range to make these things faster. Decision has to be wise, this is why it takes so long.
The best one is the Squid one with the tentacles wrapped around the back....thats EPIC. Yes....i looked through ALL of them.
