Somehow I managed to get this one during the last sale a couple of days ago. Getting through the being modified plague is a real pain and Im really getting tired of it. One of the best 3D platformers on iOS, really polished, great tilt controls, runs smoothly on a 3GS. After an hour or so I thought that it is really worth the original $4.99 price, for a buck it is a no-brainer if you like the genre.
As long as an app is on sale and not free, I have discovered a work-around to the "being modified" bug: You can gift yourself the app! Works like a charm and locks in the sale price without having to hope that Apple gets the item fixed at their end sometime in the vague future. There are three catches though: 1. One is that you need to be able to gift/email the code to a different email address than the one you have on file for your iTunes account. OR, choose the print-it-myself option and just see/print the code at the end of the transaction (as another user here discovered in the TinTin thread). 2. The second is that this won't work for free apps as you there's no option to gift them if they're free. 3. Thirdly is that you have to use a credit card for payment, and can't use an iTunes credit or gift card to pay for the purchase. You simply redeem the gift code without getting the error from the direct purchase, and since the code is independent of the email address it is sent to, you can just redeem that code for a download from your regular iTunes account.
This has been one of the best platformers I have ever played. If your on the fence. Jump off and grab this for a buck.
Thanks for the tip. I won't be able to find out if it works (for now), I'm only using gift cards for payment. I hope it works for you guys using credit cards. It is kinda sad actually, this "being modified" problem should be sorted out within a couple of hours, not days...
Not updated yet, but looks like this is going to be onsale for $.99 again (hopefully, shortly). On my wish list for my new 3GS so I'll be picking it up!

I really wanted to like this game, but I just don't seem to get a hang of the controls( tried the lite version) I think I'll grab it now and give it another shot EDIT : Bought it, enjoying it! Probably a bad calibration earlier, really digging the controls and the game now!
i all! I was planning on purchasing this for so long. My issue: how much space does it take once it's on the iPhone? There are a lot of games that are less than 100 MB when you download them, but 200+ MB in the iPhone. Thank you!!! Please help.
Price drop - $0.99. Fantastic game. I'm not a big fan of tilt controlled games but this one feels really good. A bargain for a buck.
Yep, great ball roller/platformer combo. After the first few levels, it's not as easy, at least for me, as it's casual look may appear.
I do not post here much but I have to say that this has been one of my favorite games for my ipod touch. I did not think that tilt style games could get better than Dark Nebula 2 but this one adds more with the punching and helmets etc. It is every bit worth 99cents and more. I am hoping they come out with an update to add new levels soon as the game just ends. You can see on the map that there should be more but its not there. They did update for the ipad 3 and from the videos it looks awsome.
I've still yet to get around to this game to be honest. Tried the demo, enjoyed it, and ended up buying it last time it was on sale, but then it just sat there. It is a very cool game so far as I can tell. Too much stuff to choose from, though. Definitely get it, though, if you're looking for a quality action-adventure in the vein of Sonic meets Monkey Ball.
A console quality game that even delights a hardcore gamer like me. The tilt control system in this game is near PERFECT. It makes me wonder why not more 3D games out there are using this control style. It's really intuitive and natural. The level challenges are also very well balanced, not too easy, but also not too difficult. The developer has done a OUTSTANDING job for this game. Now all I wish is full-retina update on the new iPad
