Version 1.2 update - Language moderated: Crazy Hedgy don't 'cuss' anymore! - Autorotation support - iOS 4.2 support - Twitter integrated: So you can now get more Gems after each level - Gameplay: New elements added (speed-ups, crates, ramps), especially evident in the first world 'Green Hedges' - Level Design: Optimized, especially in the first world 'Green Hedges' - Bug Fixes: in "Candy World" - Tutorial improved - Coins are better placed - Reset game button added to options Not had a chance to try it yet, but autorotation is finally in and by the sounds of it green hedges has been made easier, or at least different, and coins are easier, or different. By the sound of it the devs are happy with the support and popularity, which is good but it should be better, not even listed in new and noteworthy.
Just bought this and it's plain awesome! Best tilt controls I've ever seen, and by far one of the best platformers on iOS. Great game. Also thanks to the devs for a great last update that finally allowed me to play it! (iOS 4.2.1). Amazing game. Highly recommended.
I've been obsessed with Crazy Hedgy for maybe two weeks now. It was literally all I played. Finally finished it today. Definitely worth hours of my times. One of my favorite games hands down.
Lol, the game must be way too easy if you were able to beat the whole game xP. Good job though! I need to get to playing it soon. I think I've finished three platformers completely in the more than three years I've bought iOS games.
Same for me. I love this game, yet I have lots of levels to complete before finishing... Too many games on iOS and MC3+Charadium+Dungeon Raid trio sucking time.
My only regret is I wish I took the leap on this game sooner. I was hesitant for awhile because it looked kind of childish but damn I just couldn't hold out any longer and I'm glad I got this game!
Game Impressions Crazy Hedgy is in my mind, without doubt, the best platformer on iOS, and one of the best games too. It feels like something that belongs on a Nintendo console. The game starts introducing you to movement and jumping. You can collect diamonds and coins. Unlike games where the collection of pickups is purely in pursuit of high scores, diamonds are in game currency to buy all kinds of upgrades, that really help. You can increase health bar, so you get more attempts at trickier levels. The coins are used to unlock certain upgrades, coins are really important, so try and find all three on each level. This is a HUGE game, and gets very challenging towards the end but your abilities improve. I found myself playing the existing levels again and again once I'd finished it. Highly recommended.
It actually really frustrates me that this game isn't getting the recognition that it deserves. Tell all your friends if you like it. I'm a bit scared that the developer may not want to drop more time into the game for extra levels and so on. Sometimes the AppStore sucks: the top paid app on the Australian AppStore at the moment is Temple Jump, a shitty copy of Temple Run with a copy pasted icon and no screenshots of gameplay. How is this possible??? Very sad I want Crazy Hedgy to be featured by Apple or something. Needs to happen.
It made new and noteworthy the week after it came out, and was featured in the "Great Platformers" section right now. But I agree, it deserves far more recognition: it's one of the best games on the app store. But the devs said on facebook they're working on a big update right now. (Also Temple Jump made it up the charts massively here in the US too, but it got pulled pretty quick after that)
Now $4.99 => $.99. Alltime best price for the first time! One of the best games in town! Highly recommended! GET THAT NOW!
I can't confirm that because I got the app when it came out. But I had that "being modified" message with other apps these days before. The solution was to download it via Mac/iTunes first and then I could download it on iPhone and iPad.
trying to download it on itunes... never download it directly on iPod/iPad. Perhaps, i should try that this time. Thanks for the heads up by the way.
