OK, dumb question coming up. If some of us (me) are not good enough players to unlock the perks in the other games, will we be able to do this playing Crashlands in and of itself (unlock the additional content)?
Perks are like an add-on bonus for BS games. AFAIK you've got to follow the unlock process in each game, so you won't be able to unlock them any other way. The cross-game Perks unlocked in the other games are not so difficult though, just a long process (e.g.: maxing out the rocket in Flop Rocket is just a matter of playing and achieving coins).
Yes, I know, this, Pocket Mortys and Space Grunts are going to make this January a really great January instead of the usual one in which everyone has gained a lot of weight thanks to the holidays and realize that the winter is awful due to the sometimes insufferable cold :/. But yeah, I'm HYPED for Crashlands, my body is ready.
Perrrrks Caught some questions, so I thought I'd clarify: We're updating all of our previous games so that Perks are accessible (not necessarily unlockable -- some Perks are made possible (or much easier) only after ButterUp)) without making any purchases. We realized that it was dumb and confusing that players could ButterUp in a game, unlock a Perk, then go to the other game that the Perk pointed at and NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT. So Perks, leaderboards, and some progress syncing will soon be available to everyone. We're working on those updates right now, and will get them into review at iTunes as soon as we can.
That makes total sense. I buttered up in three of your games and intend to in Crashlands, but not every game is right for everyone as far as the commitment to butter up. Good decision.
Already have my iTunes review ready: "Crashlands is greater than all the Star Wars movies, all the Beatles records, and all the Shakespeare plays combined and then multiplied by Abraham Lincoln."
Aaaand, here we finally have some Perks specific from Crashlands that unlock things in the BscotchID Now we're only missing the Crashlands Perks that unlock things in each of the other BS games. Cool!
