Great news. As soon as the update is released and this is confirmed I'm in ;-)

 

There have been two new updates for the Android version, 1.3 for a number of fixes including unlimited lives for the in app purchase, and 1.4 for Android to fix an in app purchase issue. I can say that my Android version now has unlimited lives, and I'm really enjoying the game. Will probably buy it on my iPad too!!!

 

Currently the game still says nothing about no timers if you purchase. Can someone confirm for the iOS version? I'm just waiting for a yes to purchase since the lives are a killer for me

Unlimited lives are definitely on with Patch 1.2, but it's still "Waiting For Review" on the AppStore. Usually takes 7-10 days. I think it's been about 4 days since Paifu posted.
Patch 1.4, as dominici said, is already up and live for Android users. With Unlimited lives of course.

That is what the unlimited lives are... The timer was a set amount of lives you have that after they are all gone you have to wait a certain amount of time to get more... So unlimited lives (timers) will be removed

 

Yes, with Patch 1.2 the Timer system (start with 5 lives, once all are used, get a new life every 15 minutes and another one each time you watch a video) has been removed (for those who buy the in app).

When Patch 1.2 is up, buying the in app gives you:
- Unlimited (number of) lives (= Timer removed)
- 4 extra inventory slots
- 1 extra character with autoloot

Ack, this was a bug found in the Android v1.3 but it seems it was already there in the v1.2... We weren't 100% sure and didn't want to stop the reviewing process.
Fear not though, we have already submitted v1.4. It is "Waiting For Review".

So... No new gems past lvl 14? Doesn't this makes the game less enjoyable?

I have a few gem suggestions:

* % Increase chest frequency;
* % Increase mob frequency;
* Jumpstart (rush down a few levels on start);
* % chance of random effect (bomb, freeze, ray)
* % Extra gold from mining;
* % Extra materials from mobs;
* % Slowdown scenario speed;

Just stating a few...

With a new Challenge, the deeper you go the more chance you got to encounter falling blocks.
