Is this game broke for the regular iphone 6 as well? Or just the iphone 6+? I would assume it's both and sorry if this has already been answered.
I'm TOFTT here. iPhone 5s, very experienced Terraria (PC, Xbox, iOS) and Junk Jack player here. Tomorrow will be full of thoughts.
Anyone experiencing the same bug? All of the text is gone, cant read anything..tried re-download it..but nothing happen..what a waste I'm using iPad Air btw..
Looking forward to your impressions Ponycakes. Would also like to take advantage of the half-price sale, but am on a 6+...
Okay. So heard back from the developers about the iPhone 6+ issue So, we shall see what happens, and more importantly when.
OK gang, about an hour or so in, and it handles very much like a Blockheads + Terraria mash up. You can give orders to your team of dwarves (I had 3 about 30 minutes in to the first "Level"), or double tap one and select "Control" to move that dwarf around with touch controls. Harvest materials by tapping earth/trees/stone, etc., and your dwarves will gather them automatically (the items drop to the ground and must be picked up after). Missions (in the Level mode) have been "Craft basic wood materials X times" and "Set up a base with protective totem". Only about an hour in, though. A warning: The dwarf AI could use some attention. It seems like they HAVE to take turns performing actions, as you'll chop down a tree, but the next dwarf has to gather the wood. Sometimes the dwarves will walk the wrong direction, stand still for a few seconds, then correct themselves. Not huge, but odd. Will be back with more once I've put some more time in. Remember, this is only 1 hour of gametime so far! It's been fun!
I need some more solid impressions before I get this game but damn the game's art looks awesome! I checked out the PC version and so far the PC version plays nicely.
Straight from the steampages, for those who wonder how it compares to the PC version featurewise: Craft The World is now available for iOs! There is 50% launch discount for a limited time. Pocket Edition contains all the features of the Steam version . https://itunes.apple.com/ru/app/craft-world-pocket-edition/id921954809?ls=1&mt=8
Outside of using an emulator, closest we can currently get to dwarf fortress, well, more like a lite version of dwarf fortress. I think it stands out from terraria, but it still might be too similar for some. Art is great looking and I'm enjoying it in short burst right now. Haven't had trouble with my dwarves yet, but heard from other sources about the AI bug. I'm enjoying it so far.
