Well, I went back to Cover Orange Valentine - was tied for 7th and was unable to get one more point for many months, but last night I got three on one level so I've got 7th by myself. If I could ever get slo-mo on it, I could get much higher, but just don't seem able to do it with that version. I had a heck of a streak not long ago on CO - got lots of 990 scores up to 991. Can't figure out why I couldn't before and then I could. I've had it happen before, but never with so many on levels I've already played so much. I have stopped the clock earlier on, I think, three of them, but it is extremely rare and didn't win when I did it anyway. But I do have potential for about 10 more points based on that. Not playing it now though - lost my slo-mo and while on vacation I have other things to work on.
Just added 7 more points on CO Valentine so I'm in 5th place. If someone gets the iphone 4S, it would be nice to try some of the tricks on the first levels to see if the iphone 4S is better or worse at stopping the cock.
To FDG: I think we can confirm that the first place person is a hacker. He was clever enough to put a score that was theoretically possible (averaging under 991 points per level). I could beat that score on my 3G, but no leaderboard on that. But now I see he suddenly is #1 on Cover Orange Valentine and he wasn't so clever. He's averaging over 996 points per level - not possible. Based on that, I think both his scores are certainly bogus.
Well put big K. A hacker for sure in the #1 COV spot and no doubt guilty of hacking CO as well. Maybe time for some new levels or a set of holiday levels.
Hmmm, his name is still there. Hope FDG gets on it. One of the things I like about the game is that they've been good about deleting the hackers. If hackers get away with it, there isn't a lot of motivation to keep at the game. We KNOW the CO Valentine is bogus and, considering that AND how he came out of nowhere, it is like 99.999% likely both are bogus. We all know how hard it is to get those last points. You fight for a few a day - no real way for someone to suddenly jump to the top.
...plus before, when there were 2 hackers at the top (both with impossible scores) wasn't number 1 called "Seth" and number 2 called "Anubis" ? There's no 99.99% about it. He is 1,000,000 % absolutely a hacker and we all know it. FDG - you know what to do!

I don't recall the names, but that would be interesting if that was true. Regardless, we KNOW the CO Valentine score is bogus and that pretty well establishes that both would be (no one who can score that high would need to cheat on COV). I tell you what I'd like to see. A way that if it is definite that a person cheated (as would be the case here), that EVERY score that person has on EVERY game got removed permanently. You know, send a message to the jerks. Pantsjo well earned 1st place on COV - even on my 3G, I could only outscore him by 9 points. That really shows how well he did on his hardware.
Play some of the really simple levels and see how you can score on them compared to what other hardware has done. I'd be very interested to see if that faster phone is incapable of even getting 991 scores. There does seem to be at least some relationship to the basic hardware speed. After all, my 3G is the slowest device with reported scores and can get almost all 992's (except for 20 levels, I think). A far smaller number of 992s can be had on a third generation iTouch. But the iPhone 4 I have maxes out at 991.

He's almost 200 points ahead of ctay. Unlikely to be behind her and suddenly move ahead by that much. I've had some pretty good streaks, but once near my present level, I don't come close to getting that much in a day! How much have you been checking? Since you are in 5th, he had to get about 350 points to move from some point behind you to where he is now. Since his score is the same as it was on 9/23 perhaps he has been reinstated by the powers that be ...
