We can´t block hacks entirely, it´s an Apple thing but we just got rid of the 2 fake scores. Leaderboard Update takes a while but should happen soon.
Surprised myself this time. I raised my score on level 162 from 982 to 989 - just tremendous luck to have the gaps work right to miss all those oranges. I'm still working to get points I know are at least possible, but I think I'm really ready for some new levels!
My trusty 3G iPhone continues to get lots of points - 992 on all the new levels. Have first place with the iPhone 4 too, but I don't think I have yet gotten all the points possible. Ctay is right behind me in 2nd place.
Big K just when we had some fun going. Another hacker that thinks that 991 is an average score. Obviously hasn't played for real. I am so disgusted with this game and game center. Why can't something be done????
Ticked me off. Losing first place (to you) is fine since I know it was legit. These hackers who suddenly jump to a high score are just pathetic.
Well, while we wait to see about the sudden appearance of a new high scorer/hacker, I managed to pass ctay again - one of the advantages of living in Hawaii and still being up while the competition is in bed! I figure it will last for about 2 hours if I'm lucky once she starts playing again.
Yep, I was right - ctay just passed me again by 10 points. Looking at all the levels, there are only 12 more points I've ever actually scored (but failed to beat at the higher score) and there is, maybe, a chance to pick up 7 more on the new levels, though that is just a guess. So, ctay, barring a new discovery, you just need 9 more points to all but guarantee I can't beat you on the iphone 4! Of course, my 3G score is much higher, but no leaderboard.
I am going to have to play through the levels and pick up points I failed to get earlier... So, I probably will pass you. But if it were not for your "discoveries", I would be struggling... Did I ever mention that I too have an old 3G. Never used it to play games on... but ya never know.
Yeah, but without help from you and Pantsjo directly (and others like Shawn's old posts here), I never would have been in the top 1000 - maybe not even 10,000. Also, the tricks I learned from you all led me to the new discoveries (typically just variations of what you were already doing). I see you are still moving up - 34 points ahead, thus out of my range barring new discoveries on those bad levels I have. Now, if I could find a way to raise those scores that seem hardware limited, I'd keep giving you a run for your money. Not likely to happen after all this time though. You still need 16 points at least to match my prediction so get with it!
Uh-oh. Well, at least it would take you a lot of work to get those high scores on 240 levels. Trouble is, you are no longer learning new tricks so you could probably get high scores relatively quickly. If you do ever beat my 3G score, I'll still have the highest score on an iphone 4! You know, the one that really matters!!!
Looks like one of the hackers was removed. I got a small surprise tonight on my iphone 3G. Level 90 has always been one of the bad ones. The high score for other devices is just 977 and even on the 3G, it was only 980. Well, somehow got the 3G to get 981. Quite unexpected.
