Stopped the timer on level 91 at 991 (was 990). Also managed to cover 2 of the 4 oranges which means this one may be doable with some luck. Can't get rid of all the slanted posts though, which makes it really tough.
Hello there. Been looking at the forum for a couple of days now and hope someone can help. im currently up to 55th now on cover orange and have achieved this with no slow mo. I dont understand how you can get slow mo as i have never had it and dont have an option to get it. I read that you only get it when the game lags but then i also read people saying that they are going to turn it off which doesnt make sense to me as if you can turn it off you must be able to turn it on. Please help as im struggling to get my scores higher and im sure if i had it i could give you big boys a run for your money.
thanks for getting back to me. I do have another question though. My score is 175270, i have added all my scores together and the total is the same which gives me an average of 973 per level. I have been led to believe the top 2 are hackers but i know your score is genuine. Your score gives you an average of 989 per level which i would say seems imposible. All i can think of is that the 960 you get for achievments is added onto your score which would then give you an average of 984. Do you know if this is the case and if so how can i get my score to be correct?
Here is the mentioned List of Cover Orange Level High Scores which I just updated. Another busy day. My own contributions are a 990 on #104 and a 989 on #120. On level 120 I dropped the box from up high so it would just pass the upper orange, and immediately drop the wheel from down low between the bomb and the other orange. Edit: Also got 988 on level 95. I'm putting up some pictures in my album.
If you're at 55th place, you are one of the "big boys"! And to do it without slo-mo is impressive! As for slo-mo, you don't turn it on and off - at least not that I know of! You quit the game entirely and restart. That is, if you have an iphone 4 with multi-tasking, you have to also remove it from the task bar. I've been running in slo-mo for days now. I'll "quit" the game to do something else, but it is still in the task bar so when I return to it, it is still slow. The way I measure slo-mo is to go to level 7 and just let it run. Normally it will cycle through and restart the level in about 7 seconds. But my present slo-mo this morning has it taking 99 seconds! This is also the way I get into slo-mo. I think the screen has to be left on to do this so I make my settings to do that. I run level 7 overnight and, usually, the next day it is slower. I think once it sped up a couple seconds and once it didn't seem to change at all, but otherwise it just keeps getting slower - until something in the game locks up eventually and I have to restart.
I know we all talk about the itouch - at least your version - being able to get 992 while other hardware won't, but I was wondering if people have also gotten that many points on other units that are the same as yours. In other words, can all 3rd generation iTouches do it or are you the only one?
I can also get 992 on my iphone, whatever the model is, just before the newest ones came out. I have the free CO and CO valentines on it and can get the 992 on the first levels... the phone is not jail broken, and it doesn't have the latest software, so I can't get the full CO game. If I were to try and upgrade, between Apple and ATT (don't have a sim card) it would freeze it up. I can give you more info about it if you tell me what to look for... I think you mentioned you had a 3 something or other... My question is will the new player with the newer ipod touch be able to get the 992.
No, bonus points don't count. I have a spreadsheet with all the record scores (and my own scores). The present average/level is 989.58. This is based on my own chart - I found three errors in what pantsjo posted which I'll tell him about in another post.
That was a nice improvement on 120. Hope I can do it. I found three errors on your chart and just dug back through the posts to confirm. Here are the correct scores: 70: 991 pts (ctay) 73: 990 pts (ctay) 95: 989 pts (me) Total should be 178,124 pts. Glad you include the total on your chart or I wouldn't have found these.
Just noticed that on your chart, you also don't show the score for 104 and I didn't have it either so the total is now 178,125. I already beat your level 95 score as posted before. Sorry about that.
