while you all wait for Shaun, anyone else want to complain about the ios update... I wish I hadn't done it ..
I basically like it on my iphone 5 and ipad mini. Haven't done my iphone 4 because I've heard it is sluggish on anything less than a 4S. But I do think they do some silly things. My main complaint is how how clear some things are to read. For example, I'll see text on an kinda white background, but the text is not black or dark blue or something like that. It will be some sort of pastel like color which, sorry Apple, simply is harder to read.
I agree, screen changes are annoying and the written stuff is too thin and light and difficult to read... big k there is a setting under accessibility where you can change the lettering to "bold", it does make some of it better. Also I read there is a setting for stopping the motion, google it, J and see. I don't have the "option" on my iphone 4 ... I hope they update soon and provide us more opitions on how the screens look.
I do think it's faster though. Don't like the new icons, nor the ugly layout. Don't think Steve would have approved this one...
Yes, I agree, Steve would not approved of this juvenile like graphic design. Looks/works like an ad/trailer for a Star Wars movie with all its zooming in and out! And the decreased ability to see the print is also not friendly to anyone who has less than 20/20 vision! I suppose we should complain "offficially" so there would be a better of chance of a redesign or ability to choose icons and layout. I am not sure how to go about it though.
I haven't done any real comparison of speed on my iphone 5, but I have noticed that checking mail seem MUCH faster. A lot of times in the past, the darn thing would take a good number of seconds before it would say it was done. Now it is usually so quick that I don't even notice. BTW, don't be surprised at what Jobs would have approved. I forget exactly when it was, but apparently there were problems with the sound quality of earphones early on which was because Jobs tested them with his own ears and he had hearing issues! It would be like me testing screen quality for colors, but I'm a little bit color blind. And remember that he made the ridiculous statement about the iphone 4 antenna saying "don't hold it that way". That would be fine if the problem showed up because of an usual way of holding it, but it showed up with the most common way of holding a phone! But, actually, that problem was not as bad as the problem where the screen would come on when talking on the phone so that your cheek could activate buttons! I did a lot of testing on this and could repeat the problem with every iphone 4 I tested (two of my own, a couple friends, and every iphone on display at three different Apple stores) until, I think, they got to week 51 of that year. Clearly they changed something with the sensor without saying anything about it. Not everyone knew there was a problem because how you held it or how your ear was shaped would make a difference.
Hi guys! Looks like I'm a little late to the party. I-Doc got me hooked on this game recently and unfortunately my OCD is as bad as his Anyway, I'm 999 on all levels in the first 2 worlds I'm happy to post screencaps if there is anything I can offer to you guys!
Sure, I owe you guys. I've gotten quite a few hints here and there looking back through the forum. Here it is:
It worked, 999! Actually, we share and help a lot on this forum. Unlike the cp forum for instance. I like that. Thanks again.
Since X-Trace posted his 999 candidate for 4-36, I have been wondering if this could work too for 2-36, but on my Pad2 this type of balance is impossible. Now at least I have an alternative, that is let's say an almost impossible one
I couldn't get a balance here either on my iPad, which in fact is known for its balancing skills. Nonetheless, this impossible solution is less impossible than the old 998...
Great solution. Got it in like 10 minutes. And I was happy to see that the leaderboard limit allowed me to have 1 point more
