Well, I'm trying to get as many 999's in a row as possible. The 1-5 was the first obstacle. Next is 1-23 and 1-25. I have bigger points later to get, but I thought I'd try this approach first. No luck yet so either I'm slow or there is a better approach (or both).

    Schlaaand!
I have been asked if the reduced score also shows in the game. Yes it does. They did not touch the individual scores and the total number of stars.

So it is for sure not GC or the app store to blame. The game itself reduces the total score. I don't like this.

120159 points (751 avg) and 480 stars (3 stars avg) is ... a bug
Maybe you should try to get another point and see what happens.

Did anyone else improve his score the last hours? If so, went everything fine or is this bug a very new feature?

Thanks to a hint sent by cy@n I made 4 additional points in 3-40. I now have 120163 displayed in the game and in the "today" tab of GC as opposed to 159718. The difference is 39555. saosijs' and Shaun's difference is almost exactly double that so I should call myself lucky :D Bother.
If somebody has a contact at FDG please PM me. I only find their web contact form.
    Thank you
    Papp

Try using the info@ address on their web site. http://www.fdg-entertainment.com/Support.html
I'll PM you the address and another one as well

This is funny, I used to have like around 40k in-game immediately after the update, then I worked my way "up" to around 80k by playing world 4, but I just checked again the in-game score and I got put back again to 41151 now. I got nerfed twice! Who's the man now!!!! :D

It is not a bug, it is a compliment! Only the very best players get nerfed by the anti-cheat program :D

So far all we know is that three players were nerfed because of their scores being too high (FDG response to me: your highscore is too high and was nerfed by the anti-cheat program). Maybe Papp got nerfed because he won too many points in a too short time? Who knows what the program exactly does?

Papp, definitely contact FDG Support to complain about this. The more complaints, the more chance they publish an update to fix this problem soon. So far they don't give me a date other than just "next update" which could be months if it is a content update. Also, they should know about your particular way of being nerfed so they can look into that too and account for it in that next update. At least the Support guy assured me for my case: I checked with the programmer and he tells me you can play the new update without any worries, but youÂ’ll only see the score properly after the next update

That's exactly how I understand it too! The game has some built-in anti-cheat algorithm that just subtracts some value from the TOTAL SCORE. The only thing affected is the total score. All my levels appear correctly.

About your problems, I definitely would contact FDG myself if I were you. The more people complain the more chance things like this get fixed (in my simple world view at least).

I just contacted them and let you know if their reply contains something useful. This is all very not satisfying.

P.S. at least one cannot complain they wouldn't reply. I got two mails. Nothing clear really, just a friendly nothing. The update should be available "in the next weeks" they say. And they were busy, which I fully believe. Having programmed complex software myself, I simply cannot believe it would take them more than a few minutes to deactivate the botched anti-cheat routines and another few minutes to send to Apple. Probably less time than answering complaints.

Can somebody recommend a nice game to play?

P.S. he said that I might have too many 998 and 999. Being 112 short of known max this is not too likely, then again I got a lot of bad levels with just standard solutions and 4-6 short so I must have a number of good levels too..

I like your personal objective: as many 999's in a row as possible :)
1-25 I have to look at again.
1-23 is quite easy actually, assuming you have the speed to get 999 in the first place. There are two approaches. One involves a fragile balance of the wheel on the top right edge just to make it come down with a delay (a little is already enough). The other approach is just making a mess of it like the image shows :)

Try rat fishing (rat fishing blitz for a free trial)
You will find the highscores in the co2-table
But: there are some device-dependent differences, too!

"some" he says  At what point were you going to tell him about the glitch that only works on some devices?
A difference accounting for 30k on a total of about 800k is some difference yes :D
    Still a good puzzle game.

Siege Hero Wizards is just out, but it might be that you can buy your way up the leaderboards with powerups. Need to test that more.

Or try Cosmic Mechanic, Juice Belts, Tito's Shell, Be Together, Little Lost Chick, Follow the Rabbit.

Thank you for all the recommendations!
I already tried the lite version of the rat extermination game. And I did not like it after a few levels. The miniclip guys have a nasty tendency to be too brutal for my taste. I did not at all like fragger, monster island was ok though (I am surprised I am still #9 even if I did not play it for ages).

I liked Siege Hero so I'll try the orc variant.

My gaming taste is a bit particular, or just call me narrow minded. The best game ever is and was CP. Period. CO2 is not bad, but I'd much prefer a game where timing is no issue (Guess why I still have not maxed a number of CP levels). And I like to stick to a single game for months :). I don't play a lot.

Cosmic mechanic reminds me of iBlast Moki2. I'll have to look through the other ones more than just casually.

Once you remember 1-25 I'll join the Kahuna praising you, saosijs.

Definitely check out Juice Belts. I had lots of fun with it with friends coming up with better and better solutions

It's more like Bad Piggies (a bit platformy), but imho better. More focussed on a real construction puzzler aspect than bad piggies. For me it was lots of fun.

    Here comes the spoiler
Wheel left of orange slightly touching. Orange from low height in the middle. Now wait as long as possible ;):D. Orange from high up on the right edge of the left platform so it bounces to the right (as left as possible to avoid the swing arm but it needs to bounce to the right)
    . There is another way
where you drop the last orange on the (moving) wheel just left of the center of it
but it is more difficult. I'll monitor the spreadsheet for the progress you make! :D

Oh, and Donut Games will release a new game soon ;)

And yes, CP is the best iOS game to me, too ...

    Is it CP2?

Hey Papp. Looks like rat in Hawaii or rat on vacation. Lol. Too bad donut doesn't love the cat more than the rat.

Yes unfortunately. I am not a huge fan of jump'n runs, I never tried one of the rat on rubbish stuff.
