They have been responsive to my email to their Support yes. I'll contact them again directly for an update about the nerf bug Shaun, Cowboy and me are suffering from. That will require an update to the game though, not only to the GC limit, because it was a deliberate in-game lowering of the points (for good reasons - anti-hacker - but with regrettable results - 3 honest top players pissed off). My fear is it will take until the 5th world will be ready that they also fix the nerf bug And I only can imagine that changing GC limits is something rather simple; at worst it could be a bureaucratic process with Apple. BTW, it seems X-Trace is effected too. He told me he is missing a point on GC (159816 is his real score) I agree CO2 is still a world class game, I guess it's just us who are too game center centric
I can do 999 for this level (without trying to win), but not every time on my iPad2. It really matters that you start the drops at the right time and that is really more of a feeling, a rhythm (retry, pause, tak-tak-tak-...), than looking at the screen. It is the part of the game that I hate. I'd like to see the clock start on first touch. CO1 is far worse tough. Every drop needs its pause. It probably is why I never really got into CO1. What you describe is what I did to get my 999. Two wheels on the side, then the orange as much in the center horizontally as possibly and the last wheel above the orange. Try varying heights of the first two wheels; mid-high or a bit lower seems to work for me. The orange as high as possible while still allowing space for the last wheel. Also, as somebody said here (about another level), this is not a 999.9 seconds level, but a 999.0, in other words, as fast as possible doesn't always give you the best chance. Not that you really can control this with 4 objects ... but it is worth it to at least concentrate as much as possible on the first two drops to be as fast as possible. The rest should follow out of natural timing variations that your attempts inevitably will have. [edit] actually, try to throw the orange a bit off-center, just a little bit to the side where your first wheel went and the last wheel a bit off-center to the other side of that. It might give some extra necessary height, is time, for the last two drops to get to the basket
I think we may be talking about different approaches on 1-5. I was thinking the only way to do it was to drop the first two wheels off the side (hitting nothing), then orange near the center so it doesn't tilt the poles and the last wheel on top of the orange. You seem to be describing my old approach where you still drop the orange into the bucket after the first two wheels tilt the poles up and then the last wheel protecting it. Or am I misreading?
After weeks I went back to 1-5 again and it can be done on the iPhone 5. Do just as saosijs says, it really helps to offset the last two items. I tried 15 mins throwing the first wheel left with the left index finger and the other three with the right but could not get more than 998. Then I switched to left-right-left-right, takatatak as fast as I could. With the proper rhythm I now get two 999s out of three. One of many tries was successful.
Ah you mean a stable balance of wheel on top of orange? My iPad2 doesn't do that. I had to "fall back" to a friends iPad4 to 999 1-34 because of that
Nice! For me the only way to be fast is L-R-L-R without X-ing my fingers or hands. For 4-22 I even found it useful to lay down my pad in front of me in portrait mode just to be able to get a good rhythm and (next to doing L-R-L-R) to have every drop "lower" than the one before, like Code: L(1) R(2) L(3) R(4)
In 4-22 I am far, far away from such esoteric niceties. Still at 995 with no idea how to improve the score. I can't play a lot nowadays.
I played this lvl on my iPhone 4 which had more space on the sides than my iPad. This allowed me to blast the left orange directly into the hole while the right one stayed covered by the wheel.
Hey you with the sad face. Their intentions were good, and if you think about it quite an honor. Anyway, meanwhile we keep our own scores until the update is there. Come on! Live with it and get going champ! Ps: At least we know that the hacker is a real hacker since it circumnavigated the nerf. ;-)
I'm more sad because I should as you say see past this really ok ill try complete the levels tonight , I do about 5 and give up usually lol
Hi dabigkahuna I did all my scores on iPhone 5 as well - no other device included. I'm almost at the limit with this device, some tricks are only possible with iPad. But as far as it has concerned speed and space, I managed to do it on iPhone 5 as well. For 4-36: So you tell me, you have problems in general to drop 5 items within 999 - and therefore this in general on all 5 item levels? Just try to put the phone on a table and try to drop the items with 2 fingers (different hands) alternately. This is the simplest approach for me whenever it works. Try to drop the 2nd and 3rd item not at the same place but slightly higher or left / right of the previous one, that you don't block yourself. But there are much simpler 5 item levels, this in fact must be one of the 2 hardest (together with 2-36, which might also be possbile in 999, but I rate it even harder - and nobody I know has solved it in 999 till now). I expect 4-36 to be solved by someone sooner or later But I'm not sure if my solution works on all devices (on iPhone 5 it will). For 1-5: That exactly was my solution - try the 2 finger approach here as well - I even managed to do a screenshot (following next post from the iPhone directly) in proper time to show the setup - the orange and wheel then should enter the gap (what didn't happened after my screenshot ) Just try several times and maybe drop the orange a bit higher (in fact the higher you manage to drop the orange and the wheel, the better) - when you manage the speed to do a similar setup every time, it doesn't take much time.
Final almost untimered 999 candidate solution for 4-36, done with precision but unlimited time - now I just need to be faster
I haven't checked to compare other levels with 5 objects. At least not yet. I do sometimes use two fingers on levels, but probably not as often as I should. The picture for 1-5 helps though I haven't tried it yet. At least now I'm sure of the basic approach. But, dang, do you really think you can get 4-36 fast enough? I mean, besides all the dropping, getting the oranges to balance without time to line them up is going to take a lot of luck!
Wow, how did the rain not reach the oranges????? And damn! These perfect balances are impossible on my iPad2 [edit] Ah, the rain arcs over the oranges. Just test it with one orange in that location and you can see it happen yourselves
