I don't think iCloud is involved. I think it's a GameCenter-cloud. Not sure. I have iCloud but CO2 doesn't appear in the settings (other apps do).
Maybe borrowing an iPhone and logging into your GC-account is enough. Because, yes it is useful. Just got 999 on 3-8 on my iPhone

So apparently CO2 is sending individual level scores to GC and let the "GC-cloud" do the summing. This must be game implementation dependent. I know of Rat Fishing (where I had similar device dependent problems) where the game is doing the summing and only submits totals. Well, that is my conclusion, because there the GC score didn't move when I improved an individual level on a different device (iPod gen2).

And how does 3-8 appear now on your iPad? And what about the total that is shown in-game in the menu (on your iPad)?

 

On your device go to: settings -> iCloud -> documents/data -> on

Then on CO2 -> settings (icon on bottom right of home menu) you will see a cloud icon. If this icon is on it will synchronize scores between devices with same gc account.

You need to do this on all devices.

You're right Cowboy. I switched off iCloud and the cloud disappeared from the settings in CO2. I was confused because CO2 is not listed when you go to settings -> iCloud -> Storage & Backup - > Manage Storage.

 

All individual level scores are transferred to every device switch on to the cloud

 

Both the highscore of level 3-8 and the total where updated immediately on the iPad.

BTW: i'm so used to the iPad now, that i cannot believe i played CO1 on that teenie weenie iPhone screen

 

Still use phone to play but when I change from

I'm starting to suspect device dependency for 2-4 as well. I cannot 999 this level on my iPad 2. The best cover orange I managed so far is not good enough. Cowboy tells me to just balance the treasure chest on the orange, but that stable a balance I've never seen in this level. Any conflicting or confirming experiences with this level?

But I disagree; if for some device reason I cannot get enough balance, 999 will be impossible.

Yessss! I mean no. I had been dropping the treasure chest from high up to create more time between the explosion and the start of the balance, but now with your corner help, the 999 was quite easy! Thanks a ton of oranges!!

No small block does not, but did try for hours waiting for a lucky drop from gold block but no luck
