I was pretty sure I knew where the exit was and this helped a lot. * Spoiler The exit goes from the portal to the departure terminal * Spoiler The second seat is the irradiated one.

Now that the solution is out, I can reveal that I was among the many gamers who had contacted Alan Hazelden pleading to him for months to give out a hint for the fourth monolith configuration of Nova 7. When Alan tweeted out that important hint, many of us (including myself) was able to figure out the solution once the hint from Alan began to circulate. This is also now a complete solution guide posted on Steam. I suspect, however, that this guide was only made possible because of Alan's hint as I don't recall seeing the completed version of the guide appearing before then.

The existence of the different solution variants of Nova 7 with monolith was known already for quite a while. From what I understand, it is the last solution variant that no one got until the developer posted the clue on Twitter that led to its discovery and completion solution for the entire game.

Wow, I've been holding off. Appshopper still shows 4.99, but the iTunes Store shows 3.99. Not a huge discount, but I may have to grab it. How long is the sale on for?
Worth buying it to give the dev an extra dollar, the more he makes the more chance of a sequel we'll get. Its an excellent polished puzzler, well worth the tiny 4.99 price
