Not scary at all, heh. But the story seems interesting and thrilling. The voice acting brings a slight feeling of opression to the overall atmosphere, so that's a big plus. What I dont like is the general background (horror pop?) music whereas the more creepy bgm and sfx adds much more to the atmosphere imo. The controls are also...horrible (irony?). Why do I have to lift my left thumb first before I can investigate an object without opening the in-game menu? It's bad and it needs an option to walk slower. It is running in 2x mode on the iPad. If you've ever installed a iPhone-only game on your iPad then you will know how it looks like. If you dont know how it looks like, this is how it looks on an iPad Mini Retina:
It will look the same on the Air haha. Only the physical size differs but the screen resolution is the same. Though, it would be more blurry on the Air due to it having a bigger display while sharing the same resolution as the Mini R. But you cant tell by looking at a screenshot.
Hmm, dunno. It wasn't worth the $22 in my opinion. But strongly depends on what games you are playing normally. If this is a genre you like then, well, why not? If I had to choose again, I would probably wait for an price drop. I am still not sure if it is a good idea to create a horror game on a RPG Maker XP like engine :/ I mean, in no way such a game will make me poop into my pants but I guess it's more for the story than it is for the scariness. Edit: i just saw that this game was made with RPG Maker 2k. lol I find it more interesting on how to port these games to ios instead of playing them :3
Right now I'm more into Rpg's, Jrpg's or adventure rpgs specially old school, or retro ones, but this game call my attention, but still not sure..
Hmm. What hardware/iOS version are you running, may I ask? You're the first person I've found who has even gotten to Chapter 3 besides me.
