You wont regret it, Steins;Gate is amazing ! Just finished it two weeks ago, one of the best VNs i ever had the pleasure of reading, no joke.
There is always someone who rates a game 1 star by default. They're the same people that dislike YouTube videos without watching them
Are these game more catered to anime fans? Also any feedback comments regarding the game? I can't tell how scary the game is based the pics. Any honest opinion would be appreciated
Id say these games are definitely more catered to fans of animes in general yes. Scary isnt really the word for corpse party... id say "creepy" fits much better. Its not filled with jumpscares or scary stuff, its just very very grim and the sound effects / music / voice acting makes you feel truly stressed for some reason. Honestly when I first watched screenshots from the first corpse party my thoughts were "how the heck can people feel fear out of sprites taken out of rpg maker ?" Needless to say that 20 minutes after starting the game I had to take a break and turn on a light cuz I felt uneasy, its weird... and very unique, I say, try the first one out if youre curious.
5 stars game for me, it's brilliant and I love the fact that the voice acting are all in Japanese with English sub. I love it!

Where does this fall in the series? I know a few corpse games have come out on the PSN/Vita. Just wondering if this is a remake of the first or the third game in the series.
This is the third game. The - excellent - English version of the first one, Repeated Fear, is also available on iOS, and is currently available at a massive knockdown price. The second one is also available on iOS - but in Japanese only. They skipped it, for some reason. Maybe because it's the purest visual novel of the three. The first and third have more arcadey interactivity, such as it is.

I don't remember how much the game was off with the launch sale, but yes...the plan was always to increase the price. Take a look at their other apps...they're all in this range.
Originally was £12.99, even so I can't see many paying £30.99 for a port, an I thought Square-Enix were expensive on the App Store
These are super niche titles. I highly doubt anyone buying them on sale or at full price is thinking "Hey, this looks nice. Why not?"
As MC says, you were warned! All the 5pb games were on massive knockdown sale prices. They are excellent titles, however, and there aren't many visual novels of this quality available on the App Store - or anywhere else.
