I recently downloaded the 30 day free trial of CoPilot Live Directions and I like it so far, quite a bit, other then some clunky aspects to the UI. Anyway, there is a grayed out Live Traffic option and my understanding was that Live Traffic was a $19.99 or maybe $29.99 per year option. OK, that's fine, but how do I purchase it? The CoPilot store in the app doesn't list it. Anyone know how you get Live traffic? Also, for anyone who already has it, I would love to hear how well it works for you. How accurate?
I found out the answer - you have to have a paid subscription (1 month or 24 months) or the non-subscription version. I ended up buying a 1 month sub and 1 month of traffic to test it out. I haven't really had a chance to try out the traffic yet, but at first glance it doesn't appear to be what I was expecting. I thought I'd see indications of traffic on the map view, but instead all I seem to see is a text list of traffic issues that is an entirely separate thing. It does sound like it supports rerouting as you drive, so maybe it doesn't show up on the map but does actually use it? Not quite what I wanted, but maybe I've got it wrong.
