    This thing looks so awesome.

You can control this RC drone using the accelerometer on your iPhone and it has a camera which displays the footage on your iPhone's screen!
If the range is good, this would be an excellent drone for spying on people.
You could sit in your living room while controlling a drone using the camera, outside and out of sight!

Nice. Load that thing up with plutonium and we're in business.

lol, I bet the government would be very pissed off at Apple/this company if terrorists used it to drop bombs.

Seriously though. Could this be dangerous if it got into the hands of terrorists?
I mean pretty much all RC frequencies are detectable so they are out of the equation. But imagine if terrorists used this, which has a wifi frequency of 2.4/5 GHZ, then the army might just think that it is a harmless wifi signal, while the terrorists are spying on their bases, lol.

I'd love one, but the drones would have to be tiny $10 models. I've already broken three of my little brother's RC mini-copters. Good times.

I would pay several hundred dollars for this beauty! It's not gonna be 10 bucks I doubt it. Btw, I too have a tendency for breaking helis. I broke mine and my older brothers several years back.

I'd love to have one of these when it comes out. And the camera on the helicopter makes it so much better, especially since it uses the iDevice as a controller. Really cool implementation. And the augmented reality gaming thing looks pretty cool as well.

It'll cost a reeeaaaaallly shiny penny, though. Or a billion shiny pennies.

I used to have one of these:

    A 'beginners' 4ch Walkera Dragonfly.
And it was sooo freakin hard to fly. I would get it about 2ft in the air and then lose control and crash. They are much harder to control than those tiny 2 channel helis.

This drone looks good becuase it is pretty stable with the 4 rotors.
And all you have to do if things start to go pear shaped is remove your finger from the screen and it will auto-stabilise. Genius.

    Wow!

This looks so cool! Even without the games, it'd be so fun to just cruise around.

I had a UFO one a few years back that looks pretty similar to this and it was SO hard to fly and only got about 5 minutes fly time per charge :(

This thing looks amazing...Just hope it's not tooooo expensive!

I want one now...can't wait to hear more details.
