Contra and Contra HD both free for the 1st time

I'm so excited for this. Takes me back to simpler times...when games were stupid hard and you needed codes to beat them.

 

Great game.

But not as good as before because of the Paidnium aspect.

 

I honestly feel that the Paidmium aspect of the game don't really affect anything - it doesn't have any timers , and the paid items are revives and super weapons.

 

How about the Experience?

For you to unlock stages you need a high level.

 

Went to get it, saw the mountain of iap, cancelled the download.

I know iap's suck and should not be part of a game but it's free and still a great game. I have played and beaten many games with iap's without ever purchasing any. This game is pure nostalgic bliss. If I hit a paywall I'll quit and move on, but for now it's great!

 

Ruined by iap, don't buy this. It asked me to purchase the next level, and before that, it asked me to buy some sort of revive thing, and it also looks ugly.
Why can't it just be Contra?
