Hello, I have just released a game for mobile platforms called "Steambot Bounce", which is free on the App Store. The contest I am holding is for the iOS version of the game. I have a Facebook Page for my games called "Serenefox Games" and it can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/SerenefoxGames On that page it has the details for the contest under the event tab. I will post them below too but it will be run from the Facebook page. The contest is to see whoever can get the longest time on the "Easy" level by the end of the day November 3rd. I gave it a fair amount of time so you can level up power ups and your best character. ------------ Here are the details as follows on the Facebook event page: The rules are simple, you have a month starting October 3rd until November 3rd at 11:59 pm PST, to be one of the top three on the Easy leaderboard on "SteamBot Bounce" on the iOS version of the game. Winners: The top person on the leaderboard will receive a $15 App Store gift card code. The second and third leaderboard slots will receive a $10 iTunes Store Gift card in the form of a code. To receive the gift card you will have to verify your Game Center name (in some way, i.e. a screenshot of you on the leaderboard taken from your device). The winners will be officially announced on November 4th sometime that day. If you are announced as a winner, you must send a personal message or PM to the "SerenefoxGames" Facebook page sometime before the 9th of November at 11:59 pm to claim your prize. More information will be given in a reply. This contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada. Must be 13 years or older to be eligible. Any form of cheating will not be tolerated. Apple and Facebook are in no way involved in this contest nor are they sponsoring it in any way. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. ------------- If there is an easier way to verify who you are in Game Center please feel free to let me know. That was just an example. Also the reason the prize value is only $10 is because I hate when there is only one winner in contest after you tried so hard. So I decide to have three winners, but $30 total is all I could afford right now. My Game Center name will not match any names on an ID. Most will not. But... If I take a photo of the Game Center, it will say "ME" instead of the user name along with the icon or pic ( if one is used). It will also list the number the person is. 1st place, 234th place, etc.... That could be your proof.
ID Nothing will match the Gamecenter id, maybe they can pm personal details from game center itself to your id?
However the winners feel comfortable verifying and if it does work thats fine, but I think Lavender's idea will work because on the game center leaderboards you can take a screenshot and it will say "Me" and show where you are on the board.
Continues Don't forget, you can collect continues in game (or buy 10 if you want) and they carry over to other levels as well. So save them up for s great run! Continues allow you to keep the time going so if you have them use them! I have also updated the information about the contest. Here is what has been updated: The top person on the leaderboard will now win a $15 App Store gift card code instead of a $10 code. The second and third place winners remain the same at $10 codes.
Keep Going! There aren't many people getting high scores, which means you still have a chance! Note*** I don't count on the leader board for the contest so third place only has 6:16 as of 10/10/14. Pass them up to secure your code!
