What? Why was the pointed at me? I in no way shape or form a fanboy. I love all 3 of my systems, they just have Pro's and Con's. The Wii has more con's than all of them hahaahah
No, I pointed it at you because I can. MidianGTX, if that was the case I would have pointed it at ever naysayer in this thread. Personally the Wii Dominates the comp... I'll post more soon.
Fanboy... doesn't listen to reason and thinks the Wii is better, albeit the fact it's in last. PS: Sorry for calling you a fanboy but I have to do it.
I'll listen to his Wii story but I doubt it'll change my mind. Gaming is about games first and foremost, and the Wii doesn't have enough.
Kind of off-topic. But I just won the MW2 Resurgance Pack from Playstation's Twitter! Guess I have to break out the old game. (Been playing Bad Company 2 and Fat Princess lately)
Yeah I just go for games my wife and I can play together on the Wii. Like the On-Rails shooters (House of the Dead II & III ftw!) and all the Mario Games from the Wii Store, Mario Kart Wii, Stuff like that. I mean I like Metriod Prime 3 and can't wait for the other M. Zelda rocks, Twighlight Princess was ok for a port, can't wait for the new one. I dunno. Wii has a few games just not enough to make me want to play it more than my other systems.
Ok some quick thoughts When it comes to playing classic games (like xbox on a xbox 360) you have to admit that the Wii kicks ass in the category only because they probably have the biggest list of Classic Nintendo (and Sega, etc, etc) available. That's my snippet of an argument. And yes i am a fanboy, but I will say that the wii is not the best of consoles. I just prefer it over the other consoles because I find myself playing it the most. And on top of that I love the fact that I can play old games from past consoles on my Wii.
Nah, I've been tempted to buy it but would rather not spend money on it. I already redeemed it anyhow.
I'll give you that, the Wii is the best console for retro games, but... a PC and a 360 controller is the best retro platform overall.
I use my PC and a PS3 controller. The D-Pad is so much better. I was more or less just kidding, I hated that game hahaahah
I don't actually do much retro gaming these days so I haven't even tried getting the PS3 controller to work with my laptop yet. The 360 controller was pretty good just using the analog stick though, even though the games weren't designed for it.
Why do people hate Ps3 online? I find thats its perfectly fine whenever Ive played. Also, I think that controllers are a matter of getting used to, for example, Ive practically grown up on the playstation, having played them all, I was completly used to the playstaion controller. Then I tried the xbox 360 controller and that thing seemed so awkward, I just couldnt get used to it whenever Id go to a friends house and we'd play xbox. The I got my 360 and I got used to it, now I find both controllers work fine
I actually think the PS3 can almost match 360 in online, but several non-game features are supposedly missing.
