Wow, talk about being easily antagonised... You can be pissed off all you want but the fact is that you are steering dangerously close to looking like the fanboy you have so much. I hate using the word 'fanboy' myself, so I'm trying to avoid directly call anyone that, but at the very minimum you're heavily biased almost to the point of being unreasonable. If you really want a proper discussion, then maybe you'd want to take a slightly more neutral stance. If you want to feel victimised then go ahead, but I'm not flaming/insulting you, on the contrary, I'm giving some advice if you really want a proper discussion.
If only PSN had cross game chatting... *sigh* Only then will I be 100% satisfied with PSN. As of now? I'm 100% satisfied with Live. It may be partially because I pay for it, but like Hmar said, it caters to my every need. They are both great online services though.

I would have enjoyed it more had it not been used as a cover-up for lack of content (Really? They had to brag about their deal with Coca-Cola?), much like the unveiling of the new XBox 360 S and the Oprah-esque freebie giveaway to the audience was.

The major differences between the consoles are the controller (obviously) and online service. Oh, and exclusives and the PS3 wins in that category. Xbox: 2 points for controller and online PS3: 2 points for exclusives since that is almost the biggest factor, next to having friends on that console
Well, if PS3 has double the exclusive series, shouldn't the 360 get 1 point for half the exclusives? Also, doesn't PS3 have free DLC with PS+?(One point there) Also, do you mean exclusives are everything as in everything. Because, there are great multiplatform games, too.
The xbox 360 barely has any exclusives actually. An exclusive is a game only avaliable for a certain console. Most xbox 360 "exclusives" have a pc counterpart with better graphics/controls (left for dead, mass effect, gears of war, splinter cell conviction, etc). I have a ps3 and a wii, and I have all those games on my computer, and by the way, conviction wasn't anything special anyways. The ps3 is also much better than the wii...games like god of war 3, infamous, uncharted 1 and 2, resistance 1 and 2, ratchet and clank, gran turismo, and my personal favorite game ever - metal gear solid 4 can't even be beaten by Mario or Zelda or any other amazing nintendo franchise. It's also worth noting that my second favorite game ever, syphon filter, is available on the psn store under ps1 clasics...along with spyro, crash, metal gear solid 1, that castlevania game thy was a s1 exclusive, and twisted metal 2. Alot of this is opinion based, but with so many great games, it's hard to argue with the ps3! An If you really want to talk to someone not playing the game that your playing, why don't you give them a call once in a while?
Yah, but it doesn't really matter what console you're on for those. PS+ has some free DLC and some discounted DLC. Xbox has more exclusives actually, but the PS3 has MUCH better ones. I'll make a list of the good ones if you like
In the controller dept., I have to side with PS3 these days. I used to hate the PS3 controller over the 360 controller, but there is one important victory the PS3 controller has over the 360 controller: the Analog Sticks. I have no problem precision aiming with the PS3 controller, but I sometimes find it a bit harder to nail that important headshot with the 360 controller. The PS3 sticks are so much easier and sensitive vs. the 360 controller. However, I like everything else more about the 360 controller, the weight, buttons, triggers, bumpers, the chatpad. Everything. I have to use the aftermarker triggers for the PS3 controller because I hate the L2 and R2 buttons so bad hahahaha it's a vicious cycle.
Because the Xbox will let me. And so should the f*cking PS3. They are not doing themselves any favours starving us of this feature. It's a real big deal to some.
