So about two months ago, my computer crashed and though I was able to recover most of my files and data, I haven't been able to find any of my apps. I still have all the ones I care about on my iPhone, but I can't sync it with my iTunes because it will just replace them with what I have on the computer (nothing). So, is there any way to replace them, besides re-downloading each app individually through iTunes? I'd really rather not do that if there's any other option.

Attach your iPhone, and right click on it and click "Transfer Purchases". It will transfer all your apps from your iPhone to your computer without syncing and deleting them. You will have to re-download all the rest before syncing your iPhone again.

Ah, I should've mentioned this in the first post. I've been attempting that every other day or so, and it always gets one or two apps imported, then the progress bar on the top stops and the titles of everything that left are run through, being displayed for a second or two then moving on. When it's done none of them end up on my PC. I thinks it's a bug because that shouldn't be happening. Is there any other way or is that it?

    Did you try re-installing iTunes?

No, but it would probably be quicker for me to just redownload everything through the store again. It took me days to transfer all my music from their files to iTunes after the crash. I guess I should get started then, thanks.

Use iPhone explorer and copy all the apps to your desktop (you'll have to do it one by one:(). Then drag them into iTunes.

That's much better than the way I was going to do it. What's iPhone explorer? Do I need to download it?

Yes, it's third party software for accessing files on your device. You don't need to be jailbroken to use it.

    Download it here:
    macroplant.com/iphoneexplorer/

Just click on the apps tabs, click on the app you want, then drag [appname].app to your desktop, then to iTunes.

iTunes will allow you to re-download them once you sign-in to the account that purchased them.

But, if you do want to move them directly, (on a mac) they are located at:

    Users\[Username]\Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications

not sure about windows, but it's probably something like (on XP) c:/Documents and Settings/[Username]/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Mobile Applications, or on vista c:/Users/[Username]/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Mobile Applications

Know more about How to transfer purchased apps from iPhone to computer, which included the detailed tutorials of how to transfer your purchased items from iPhone to computer.
Hope it can do you a favor.
