Thanks for sharing this! I was thinking of outsourcing some of the basic words on my app in Fiverr. I'm so glad that I found this thread.
Big thank you! Awesome initiative and implementation. Also, if anyone needs Romanian localization (even though I doubt it) let me know and I'll translate everything there. //& btw, I understand localization constraints. I'm a game designer and I collaborated with localization teams on 4 AAA projects.
Nvm, I just saw that in some sheets, there is already a Romanian language column. I will edit where I'll see a need
Whoa! Great list! Glad to find this treasure. We'll try our best to contribute to this spreadsheet as well.
Great community tool! Almost forgot about this, really usefull, kudos to all people involved, will tweet this for sure!
Hi guys! I see a lot of interest for free game localization resources and I think it's great that such collaborative projects exist. I happen to be a game translator myself leading a team of fellow veteran video game translators called Level Up Translation. We had a look at three open-source game localization projects to see if they could be useful to localize a small indie game. It turns out that some can be a really decent solution while some others should be avoided. If you have absolutely no budget for localization, check out our post Can You Localize a Small Indie Game for Free? I'm happy to answer any question you may have!
