"$1.99!?!?!?!?!?" "I'll wait for a sale. I could buy two copies of Angry Birds with that kind of money." "A DOLLAR???!!!" "I'll wait for it to go free. In a year and a half. To save a dollar. Yep."
"Who is kijib?" "How much does it cost?" "Is it universal?" "I won't buy it unless it's 99 cents." "The graphics suck." "Why no Game Center?" "Will it run on my iPod Touch 2G?"
In response to any free game, no matter how shitty: "Wow, AWESOME GAME 10/10!!! It's so good." Raise the price of the same game to a dollar again, and you hear "Wow, what a piece of shit. Who'd play this?" Yep, seriously stop making games sound like they're amazing just because you got it for free. 90% of the time, they're absolute shit. ------ "$6.99?!?!" "Is this some kind of joke? Games on phones are supposed to be free; everyone knows that. What kind of f**king retard would buy this for $7?" "Wow, Square Enix and CAVE dare to charge more than $10 for a game? THEY'RE OUT OF LINE. YOU HEAR ME? OUT OF LINE!!!!!!!!"
Lurkers Shillers / shilling Peggling (haven't heard this one in a while) BANHAMMER! Toot toot! / Front page tugboat
"Will anyone TOFTT? "(Take One For The Team) "What time does it come out in America?" "I wish I lived in New Zealand." (probably the only place on the internet you'll hear that phrase JK)
"It's made by one person. It has to be good. I mean, even if it's a dirt pile, it was still made by one person. It's good. It was made by one person. One person. Got that? It was made by one person; you can't criticize it." "It's made by a 12 year old. It has to be good. How dare you criticize the efforts of a 12 year old?" ----- "I BOUGHT A GRAND TOTAL OF 5 GAMES LAST MONTH." -"Wow 5 new PS3 games? That's a lot of money!" "NO, 5 IPHONE GAMES THAT COST ME A GRAND TOTAL OF $5. I'M A BADASS. 5 new games in one month. Can you believe how many that is? I definitely can't spend anymore this month. I already bought 5 NEW GAMES." ----- "I want a REAL Call of Duty game on the iPhone. I'm not paying more than $5 though."
When users post in the "must get and price drops" forum the following: SomeGame LITE -> Free Great phrases you guys.. Will add to OP as soon as I get to my laptop
What the heck is peggling? Lol. @EBT: I think the term you're looking for is "lurkers" and not "vultures", lol.
It's when developers drop the price of a game to 99 cents, especially from a high price. It originated when Peggle went on sale for 99 cents, back in the days when 99 cent sales for high price games were rare.
Heh, actually, I DID mean vultures. I've seen this word used more than once in the occasion .. I think that it's better
"WHAT?!?!??! I JUST BOUGHT THIS AND NOW IT'S FREE?!?! WTF I'M NEVER SUPPORTING THIS DEV AGAIN!" -Me Little over-exaggerated perhaps...
Oh, I see. Yeah, it was indeed rare back then. The race to the bottom hadn't really begun yet in early 2009. Was surprising to see Peggle drop from $5 to $1 within a month at the time.
"file size?" "WAIT HOW MANY Megabytes???" "YES only (x) more hours till it releases in (x)" : translation - Yes I only have to complain for (x) more hours!!!!
