I'm working playing through every game in the series in order (now that I own the whole collection through the First Decade and the Steam deals on the latest 2) and I'm really impressed at how the very first Command and Conquer game from 1995 is still fun and playable! Maybe it's because I've become more accepting of lower quality graphics with all these iphone games i've been buying up lately but I'm having a blast with it :) Does anyone else here play C & C?

I have C&C: RA3. I used to be addicted to it. Took a break, came back to it. I can't finish the last level I was on to save my life. I forgot all the tricks and strategies I used. Not to mention the key short cuts, which were what saved my life, most of the time.

C&C is awesome. I didn't really get into it until about 2003 or so when I worked at a game firm. We used to play for hours after work in the office, it was most excellent.

I don't really have much to say other than the series is solid and they seem to get better with later versions.

    Enjoy!

I could never get into C&C. It just never clicked.

For some reason though, I bought the big DVD that has all the games up until Generals or something, and I played like, 4 or 5 missions from that one Tiberium Sun game, and then I just got too bored.

It's not that it's old or anything, in fact, I can agree that it definitely holds up well even today, but there's just something I don't like about it.

Then again, I don't really like RTS games, haha. I can play Starcraft for about 7 or 8 levels and be totally into it, then I just get too bogged down with all the micromanagement and the relative lack of strategy .
