@shadax: For sure it's wildly different from Squids. It's not for all players, so it's fine if you don't like it, but it's actually the opposite of manic swiping. It's a scoring game, so what matters is not really "beating the level", it's more "how much you can score on each level". At first, levels can be beaten by swiping franticly, but in later levels it's impossible. Also, countering is most of the time impossible if you swipe all the time. Super excited for the new update! This game really took me by surprise, as I usually don't like brawlers. In fact, I might even say I prefer swiping to button mashing in fighting games like this. It feels more visceral I guess. Anyway, keep up the great work GB!
Do you guys think there's a 'best fighter'? I've been playing mostly with Gina but I think some of her combos are slower than others that seem to have the same efficacy from Samo and Parker.

My money for the Capcom character IS Viewtiful Joe, but that is a whacked-out sillouhette.... Somebody said it looked like Dr. Eggman earlier. If only.
Viewtiful Joe was my first thought. Is there any other character that fits in the game both gameplay wise (melee focused) and art style?
Is this Co-op proper, or just some strange social gimmick that doesn't involve us actually playing at the same time?
I just downloaded this game on my Touch 4 and it works really smoothly. Really liking this game so far. I'm wondering if it's possible to get everything in the game that costs the "gamepad" currency. It looks like you have the opportunity to earn 1 per level, but is that enough to buy every character and every combo?
Woooooh!!! New update out! Viewtiful Joe and Lester Knight (from Out of this World) are now available! Joe is available as in-app puchase, while Knight is unlocked by default. New mode added, and hey added IAPs for those who want to cheat and rush into unlocking stuff.
Wow... Im surprised no one's excited about Viewtiful Joe! LOL. I thought there'd be more posts here, especially since some only recently got the game through the sale. Guess i was wrong. Aahahaha.

When I saw Out of this World's Lester included it made my week; that is one heck of a cross over... and sort of absurd seeing him in an action brawler. Very cool character there. ...Who's the Viewtiful Joe guy again?
