Haha aight man, see ya there. I need someone like you for rescues The AI is extremely predictable once you've figured out the minimum range they need to decide whether they'll attack or not. The only real trouble I ever have is with those gay Heihachi-looking dudes that bounce your attacks off and sometimes multiple blocking goons and the swipe control isn't letting me pull off a charged attack. The Heihachis can totally ruin a huge multiplier if you don't use a guardbreaker or accidentally click one of them when switching to a different target. I actually look forward to facing multiple enemies (without Heihachis) because 1) the AI is absolutely predictable 2) more hits for the super 3) I need them for a goal
So I just beat The Arcade. I can definitely see the possibility of new moves being added in the future. Many will find getting a gamepad in The Arcade difficult, especially with the last stage. Points needed to get gold in the last 3 stages are Spoiler 5, 10, and 15 million respectively . I got a perfect in the 3rd stage of The Acade but lacked 98k to give you an idea. From the looks of it, Sammo may be the best in chasing high scores. His last 2 combos have incredible multipliers and I'd have to say the last combo has the highest multiplier among the 4 fighters. The crowd control for using these is pitiful though.
Great ideas, all around. Definitely agree with Perks>boosters. Piggy bank ftw! I think you left out my personal favorite though- launch. Launch is great for when you need to deal with a mob, and it groups enemies close together on one side of the screen so you can deal damage to three or four guys with a devastating ground combo. Paired with guard breaker and it's unstoppable (see tail launch...). How is everyone setting up their characters/who are you guys using most? I've been using Gina a lot and I think I'm really getting the hang of her. I'm using the two finger method. Typically my up swipe is a juggle and down is a ground move just for simplicity, but after unlocking cobra kick, which is both a ground and a juggle, I threw chin li kick into the up slot. Great decision. It's probably the fastest combo in the game, and it deals six hits, making it an absolute beast. I've cornered whole groups and just spammed them into submission with it. For my side slots, I went with hairjitsu combo for the GB and knockdown, as well as hokuto attack for the nine hits and launch, but all with a reasonable speed so that I'm not too vulnerable.
Launch is tied with Dizzy for slot competition, only for the reason that it is possible to Dizzy multiple enemies at once and that is incredibly useful. Which is, of course, made easier by Launching. with four slots and many situations, it's tough to pick "The One" loadout that includes all of the individual combo elements; it's also a vicious cycle of debate as to which particular elements are better. To each, his own, I say- another reason why this game is so great. A few more hours and I *should* have made up the progress loss. Then we'll talk loadouts.
Waouh, I checked out your scores and you definitely made some great ones. We'll enter the challenge soon, once we're done with the bugs and the next update ;-).
Heya Emeric! Thanks for the support by the way. Here, I'll list some things I'd like to point out: Bug: Combo Crew Mode: Sammo's "Earn a Perfect Combo bonus in round 1" does not work Minor bug: Tapping for a counterattack immediately after a flying uppercut connects causes the attacking enemy to be instantly pulled towards you before even landing. (Happens a lot with Parker) Gameplay: Swiping for an uppercut after a juggle needs to take priority over any other attacks other than a counter. I often end up attacking the target behind a juggled enemy instead. Or give the juggled enemies a bigger active area while suspended. Gameplay: Also regarding the uppercut, the window to do it is a bit too long. After a successful hit in the air, I try doing my swipe up combo again to juggle but end up doing the uppercut. Request: Let us be able to cancel rescue requests if we're still alive. Who knows if a friend will log back in within a day or after a month. It would be nice to just continue on or select someone else for the rescue. Coins: I'm obtaining more than I can ever use on boosts. Will there be another use for spare cash other than for the current consumables? It sure looks like there's space in that menu for something. Question: Does using 2 fingers work for swiping enemies for a super? Question: How do I know if I've found all the hidden gamepads? I'm really into this game. If only my rescuers would actually respond.

I have not been on this forum for a while but this game looks like my type of game so i thought that this was a good time to return to the forum and ask if this game is as good as it looks ?
The short answer is yes. You can find the long answer by reading the rest of the thread. @Echoen- I think I know the answers to two of your questions- In Game Center, the achievement "Explorer" for 20 points will let you know when you've found all the hidden game pads on the main screen. As long as you're hooked up to Game Center, that is. :/ if you're still stumped, there are exactly Spoiler ten gamepads on the main screen. As far as the Super Combos go, whenever I swipe 2+ fingers, it does seem that the game recognizes all of them. BUT it acts like you just swiped one when the Super Combo resolves. This may be because the game disregards all swipes that didn't pass over or near an enemy. That's only a conjecture, however, and it definitley merits more experimentation.
Don't worry. I got you. I almost had a perfect too, the I was up to 10 million and the guys just kept coming. I don't think I ever had a level with that many waves before
Great to hear, looking forward to that Did you already make progress on the save-deleting bug? Cuz I'd be pretty happy if you found a possibility for restoring lost saves since I just encountered the same problem -.- Other than that I love the game and look forward to getting back to chasing highscores.
@rowdy_no: Sorry about the bug, but please get in touch with me: emeric at thegamebakers dotcom. We are having terrible difficulties to find the problem, and we couldn't reproduce it on our side so far. @Echoen: thanks a lot for the reports and support! I agree with your comments and we'll try to fix the problems for the next version! > During the SUPER, you can swipe with two fingers, but it won't trigger combos. It'll just allow you to score more points because you'll be able to record more inputs on more different targets. > Coins: we planned other stuff that we didn't have time to finish properly, so maybe they'll come in an update (like skins!). > Hidden gamepads: The achievement should tell you when you're done with them .
In my case, it did not. I only got notified I had completed the achievement the next time I launched the game.
Two things... What is a perfect combo? I'm not sure how to pull this off. And [email protected] I need some friends as I seen some of the scores :-(
Same thing for me. The achievement screen said I only had 50% of the hidden paddos but I swear I got the # leaper mentioned so I force closed the game and got the achievement after launching it again.
Build a combo through an entire level without losing it by getting hit or not landing any hits. It's pretty hard the further into the game you get, but once you find your perfect set of combos it's very doable
@Emeric There is a tendency to fail to load our games when connecting using 3G instead of wifi. been trying to play the game ever since I left my house and it constantly attempts to connect at the menu screen shortly before crashing to my home screen. Bug? Or is it just my Internet, regardless I think it shouldn't crash and at least have a save file on the phone in such events and later update the backed up save on your servers or something.
so i checked this game out on youtube, looks good, but what makes it addicting ? what is the carrot on the stick for this game besides a high score?
I think I am going through the same issue as you now. My save game does not load at all. Instead it crashes and even trying to play a fresh game crashes. In a nutshell the game appears broken for me now. #
