It's just mean to be a quick "well done" and is 100 each time forever. It's mainly there to help new uses rack up free coins at a good rate. You're right though, it should increase each time we'll look into that.
If you adjust that to higher will the players who been playing for a while and archived already couple of ranks get the extra coins that they missed out on during the time when it was 100 lol just asking cause i know its not much but any extra coins are always good cheers
You mean the test account thing? Sorry, you're on your own there - the game just tries to work with what you are signed in as, can't do anything else. Maybe someone with access to your phone has changed your settings?
If you finish the single player content, you'll have a chance no matter how much they spent. If you play for a few weeks, it will be an equal chance, no matter how much they spent. If there was no IAP, some people would always play a lot more than normal folks and have a temporary advantage. Its really not any different. Its the way of deck builders. If your equal on day 1 with everyone, and you stay equal with people that play an inhuman amount, that means that additional cards dont matter at all, and there is not the slightest point to collecting them. In Combat Monsters, yes, cards matter. Yes, on day 1, your going to get smoked by an IAPer. How is that remotely surprising? How could it be any different? At least in Combat Monsters, you can build a powerful deck and compete with the $$ players fairly quickly. You dont want to take the time to do that; its your right. But you cant criticize the game merely for being a deckbuilder with IAP -- you should have known that going in.
Nah. It's a Combat Monster-specific issue. It might very well lie outside the scope of the actual game, but something in the way that CM interacts with Game Center has the app believe that I am logged in to a sandbox account. Having beta tested and used sandbox accounts extensively (which are all removed my from device, before you assume that's the issue ), I have made the acquintance of several peculiar Game Center idiosyncracies that pertains to confusion between the test and live environments.
Strange, I beta test iOS games all the time too and I never log in or out of Game Center, it just automatically does it for me, if it's a beta it comes up welcome sandbox and a normal game loads up like normal, no logging in or out? I used to have to log in and out before iOS7 but now it just does it for me Well I've got no problems with combat monster anyway, just bored so thought I'd share my opinion
As long as it brings more attention to my issue I haven't actually beta tested under iOS 7 yet. Nice to know that GC handles account switching with grace now!
Scratch Game Center. Make that iTunes/App Store account, or just Apple ID. You interact with the backend of the user's Apple ID when in-app purchases are made in Combat Monsters, and logging in to a sandbox user for testing purposes will affect this process. Whether used through GC or the App Store, the regular Apple ID and sandbox/tester accounts are different, and something in the way that Combat Monsters interacts with my Apple ID has the app believe that I am logged in to a sandbox account, and prevents me from purchasing the Coin Tripler. But I repeat: since this is an issue exclusive to Combat Monsters, there is most probably a difference from all the other games and apps I have on my device in how the game attempts to carry out in-app purchases, since I've never had this happen to me in any other app.
Sorry, still don't know what the problem might be and here isn't really the place to discuss it. We've sold an abundant amount of triplers so I know that the iTunes connection is fine. I'm not saying there isn't an issue here, just that we have no opportunity to cause it through choices - there aren't any.
I doubt there are many better places to discuss issues with Combat Monsters (for it IS an issue WITH Combat Monsters, even if it is not caused BY Combat Monsters) than the Combat Monsters thread As for the issue itself, if there is nothing you can do, I will not persist in my inquiries, of course. Thanks fer trying! It is a shame, as I have even less chance of resolving the issue than the developers of the game themselves. (As for telling me that you've sold "an abundant amount of triplers", it would take a very special kind of berk to believe that the IAP mekanism would be universally broken without so much as a hint of queries in this thread I never suggested the issue was ubiquitous. But even Apple ID/App Store bugs can user-specific.)
OTOH, a far better place is the customer support forum. I'm not the person to speak with for a start, I make the gameplay not the platform integration stuff so can't really help further, sorry. We are eager to help, it's just that I can't. www.rubicondev.com/forum
Google the error. This sounds like the problem that happens with jailbroken devices on some games. Are you jailbroken?
Whilst the other guys have been having fun putting in the asynchronous mode, I've been having fun with a new feature of my own. Been testing it tonight and it rocks. http://www.rubicondev.com/blog/combat-monsters-new-feature-extreme-challenge/
Looks like a funn Puzzle like challenge! Love those Can i suggest a type of match 3 similar to Puzzle Quest the classic. Would be interesting to see how you guys would spin the whole hexagonal match 3. One thing about match 3 as many games prove time and again- it is profitable! Is that a mew race mixed in there? Any hints for their passives? Heh in dying to know any ETA for the upcoming content. On a separate note, Rubicon question: Any plans for a more robust global leaderboards? I believe i asked before but don't remember reading a reply. I realize my Facebook pose friends are ranked but that is a very tiny pool and looks to be ranked by most wins in PvP
Bah, our Fruit Blitz game would like a word They are skeletons and are mainly about mobile walls with lots of cheap armour. ETA is whenver we decide the new async mode is bulletproof, which is going well atm. Certainly should be out before the xmas break, hopefully earlier. Yes, we'd like to do something much more thrashed out than this in the future, featuring clans as well. Once we've finished putting in all the core features we intend, that sort of thing goes to the top of the pile.
Unfortunately I have come upon kind of a personal paywall that demonstrates my main complaint with the game. I am about halfway through the medium campaign, and I cannot seem to beat the next battles. Tried a few different decks and tactics. I have the tripler, but it doesn't do you any good when you keep losing and have nothing to triple. Problem may be I am just not very good at the game, but I honestly feel you should be able to replay previous campaigns for rubicons, or gain something for losing matches. Otherwise, you get stuck and there is no way to improve your deck, besides buying consumable iap.
Has this game the Bitcoin plugin installed? It drains my battery faster than any other app I am currently using.
I got stuck half way through the medium campaign after I bought the top chest, and messed up my deck with my new, expensive cards. I went back to my older deck with a few new cards in it and now I'm half way through hard.
