I guess you fall into the "I hate Wal-mart" bandwagon as well. All I see is business as it should be seen, since EA, afterall, is a business. Like it or not, EA is good at what it does, or it wouldn't be at the top. If all of its games are but flops as you say, than why isn't it going away? Personally I see truth in EA's claim about having their games within the top 25, since I've personally seen them there. Sure games in the past were hobbies, so was basketball, baseball, racing and the such. Of course we know how those have changed up as well.
I've 4 EA games (need for speed, scrabble, yahtzee, sim city). I think the first 3 are fantastic! Sim city sucked balls (still not sure if they really sorted out all those bugs, anyone?). Anyway, my point is that that is 75% goodness right there.
Javier why would EA stop making crappy iPhone games when people are always stupid enough to buy them lol Btw can't wait for quantom collapse
You know what's incredibly ironic?. I made most of the current website for the command and conquer franchises back when i had my shitty web developer job. I'm up for the challenge!, EA bring it on!
EA has lots of problems, but they did make the best racing game for the Iphone. And the best golf game. And Sims 3. So, there is hope.
i liked a lot of EA games, the NFS series is amazing and command and conquer is the 2nd best RTS i have ever played (next to starcraft). EA has some good games under their belt, dont dis them cuz they r giving u competition. FYI i will get your game, im not trying to downplay the amazing job u and your team did
This is great news indeed - played C & C in the olden days Fingers crossed for Blizzard porting the original Starcraft. More RTS plz
is it going to have the DRM that red alert 3 has? still haven;t bought that PC game yet cause of its crippling DRM... but anywho, i am excited and will want to see how it plays before i buy it...but i am a huge C&C fan since day 1
Picture from Craig at EaMobile posted on his twitter just now... http://twitpic.com/6hejz Notice The C&C Red Alert sign with a ipod touch under it...
Red Alert 3 is old news now, just grab it from a torrent if you're afraid of DRM. I personally would LOVE this game to be a re-done Red Alert 2 style.
true true... funny thing is though, the iphone is full of DRM -haha... but i think RA3 is like 10 bucks too...im just boycotting the idea of limiting a game to 3 installs... but anywho...very excited about Red Alert coming to the iphone...will have to pick it up
love it already If I heard correctly, it will also have campaign mode with Allies and Russia and also featuring the known "trash"/b-movie style video sequences. Looking forward to the release.
I have to say that I'm actually quite impressed. If my memory serves me well, it looks like the graphics have even gotten a bit of an update. They seem to really put a lot into it to make it fit well with the iPhone; it's not just a straight port. Two things I need to know: 1. Can you assign groups of units to an easily recalled group number? 2. Will there be online? Any RTS game MUST have both of these functions. Without them, my interest will dwindle greatly.
