I don't really like any of those options, so here's an alternative. You see, Ann isn't cowardly enough to run away, isn't dumb enough to take on an army of darkness all by herself, isn't thickheaded enough to just sit there acting dignified, and she isn't naive enough to think that hiding is going to help her for long. But, she is smart enough to realize that evil is dumb, because if evil was smart it would know that good is better and would become good. So, she would simply dress up like a demon princess, learn a few magic spells to impress whoever is in charge, then she'd march right into that castle spouting a few spells every now and then and proclaim that the Master of all Evil has a plan to conquer another more powerful world and has sent his lovely wife to do his bidding. Then she'd just take control of the army and order them to invade Mars, killing two birds with one stone: She'll get rid of this evil army and destroy any life on Mars that might ever decide to invade our world. Problems solved! Now wouldn't that be easier?
I'd definitely go for B, but that would depend on waay too many factors. I mean, if you're a Samus style raised to be a born warrior princess, facing evil shouldn't be too hard. But what if you aren't? Are you weak and defenseless? are you smart? what are your strenghts? work with that. If the princess were to be rich, hiring mercenaries to do the job for her would be the smart choice, just staying in the sidelines as much as her brains can. If she's a born leader, well, the smart choice would probably be that of hiding, then gathering forces to arm a rebelion and strike evil in the core. If she's smart enough but not strong she could be the tactics specialist, but not a direct combatant, being only in battles to boost morale. Another natural thing to do would be to hide and seek training to become a decent warrior to do something. But the main point is, it is already said she lost everything, meaning she has nothing to lose by going against w/e evil conquered her kingdom, and lots to gain, it just seems like worse case scenario is no worse than the one she's in right now.

The right option is to RUN AWAYYYY. Then come back to Conquer all the enemies of course. Can't leave the bad guys around.
Firts I confront the evil forces(B). Then, when that doesn't work, I run away as fast as I can(A) while trying no to lose my princess dignity(C). After I have gotten away from them, I spend the rest of my life hiding behind the forces of EVIL(D).
B) I will confront the evil forces to take back my kindom and restore the glory of my people. However, I will announce a press conference before I do that so that I can gather the support of my people to fight against the dark forces. My people in the town will provide me with the neccessary food and weapons after they participated in the press conference and the evil army on hearing of my actions, also reduce in numbers. This let me have better chances of dealing with them after their numbers are reduced. Then, I will engage some of the heroic characters in the town to join with me in this fight against the evil forces. Recruiting people will be hard so I will promise them to lessen their tax once I have restored my kingdom. Lots of people join in the fight on hearing this news. This is going to one fight to restore the Queen's Crown and gain more support of my fellow countrymen.
I'd RUN AWAY, go eat some nice food, sleep enough, then CALL ALL OF MY TROOPS all 7,312.5 of them (yes, one's only half alive, sheesh) then BEAT UP poor evil's butt!! Then, once we win (obviously) we'll DANCE AROUND the streets, and yell VICTORYYYYY! Sounds like a good plan to me
I would choose I would choose to run away as fast as I can although I would like to be heroic I probably will not have the courage to kill heaps of evil monsters when I'm just a princess
A. I would run because I don't want to get my expensive and beautiful princess clothes ruined.. Especially since 'danger' is a very hard stain to get out!
If I were in her position I would rise up and rally whatever forces I can find and send the evil invaders back from which they came! And if I were to die, I would die fighting!
I would assemble a small group of reliable, trained soldiers/warriors/wizards and go off in search of help from other kingdoms. I would take what i could, then hide my kingdom's magical artifacts in a sealed cave for a great adventurer to wander upon in the future.
well, of course i'd stay and fight, otherwise no-one could turn my adventure into a game and market it as 'the next, most epic RPG to hit the appstore'!
