Just downloaded this! Since the last one was so good, I'm counting on the same for this updated version!

Not bad but ugh, I wish the ball coming off the bat after a hit wasn't in slow motion. I hate hate hate that.

They destroyed the pitching mechanic from the last version which didn't need fixing. You don't have to time the pitch any more, all you do is select it and then place the pitch. I'm playing my first game and it's the fourth inning, and my pitches area already going wild.

OK, so I picked this up and played my first game on the default mode, and was surprised to beat the hell out of the computer 17-0! Had 33 hits to the other team's 6! Got so many achievements I can't even count 'em and a slew of cards I don't really even care about. (That's just me, though.) A few things I noticed in no real order: The base runners are much faster than the last game. The strike zone is really generous, I struck out like 14 batters. Went through 7 opposing pitchers (heh-heh) while I used 3. Funny to see how after one gets tired he starts to get really wild! Also, I played the Home Run game. Weird how a homer to left just over the fence was like 435 feet and one to dead center Way in the stands was 416 feet. Seems kinda random, the distances. Tried it at the fastest mode and the pitches come fast as hell, but it's not really harder to hit on it, but the ball DOES go farther. Was glad to see that! Overall, the game to me seems really easy. TOO easy. Good fun, especially if you've played the older game, though. You'll get right in there and slaughter 'em! Think you'll like it! Not much different, just the rosters, etc.

I don't get it, each game has progressively more terrible art. They even took out portrait mode!

gameplay also feels extremely sluggish on default.

    This game is a joke.

I'm playing in league mode with the Pirates and Gaby Sanchez is listed as my DH. The game won't let me sub him in any other position so I can use him as my 1B or RF, which are the positions he usually plays in with the Buccos. To try and fix the problem I bought a Gaby Sanchez 11 card that had him listed as a 1B. When I added him to my roster the game automatically put him in as my DH and I'm again stuck with the same problem. I don't want to just use him when I'm playing against AL teams in AL parks. Any suggestions on how I fix this?

You just have to take him out of the lineup by subbing him with a backup player. Once he is out of the lineup and labeled a "sub", you can swap him with whoever is playing 1B using the same method.
