I just want to add that I am thoroughly enjoying the game and appreciate you taking the time to review feedback on the forums. I'll certainly be interested in the next project, as well.
Yep, that's the one. Here's a screenshot, you can see all the floor tiles are raised up and this is the only way I can walk on those tiles. Hope that helps.
And the other one on floor 2a was similar (no walls) to the south of conduit there, until you enter the conduit and then the walls appeared there. Also I am on an iPad 3 (bet you are cursing them since they seem to get most of the issues) but am willing to test them out, Been helping out for a wedding these past few days and used today to recover. Also I am using the traditional controls. Lastly on the getting items with the double click : I also am having issues as well with touching people to chat. No problems picking up gold though. Odd.
Make sure that you touch their face to chat. It only takes a single tap. I'm on an iPad3 as well, using traditional controls, and have had no crashes at all. That may help confirm that the swipe movements are to blame.
Yep - head and shoulders area is where the collider is on the NPCs. Thanks for the info re controls. Definitely suspecting something in the touch controls being an issue.
I just want to add, the tap to pick up items is not iPad 3 specific. I'm playing on an iPad Air, and I have the issue as well.
I had the same issue. I didn't notice that the floor was up under the ceiling at the time, but I did wonder why it was possible for me to walk on what seemed like thin air... I thought at the time that I might get an explanation later, like it was a magic force field or something, that it was part of the puzzle that we had to figure out ourselves that we could actually walk there. Then later I forgot about it.
I'd like to second that. It's great to see such enthusiastic and helpful developer interaction. Can't wait for your next game!
Thanks Steve, for the reply. I finally got to level 2 but exited the game before increasing their attributes. Now I can't seem to find a screen to increase their stats. Is there any way to do so? Are the points still there when they hit level 3 or are they gone forever if I don't add them right away?
Thanks for those comments. I really appreciate it You only gain additional ability points every 2 levels, starting from level 3, so you haven't lost anything. When your characters have points available to spend, you'll see a little PLUS icon on their character portrait.
I had that exact bug. If you double-tap in the chain or press it multiple times too quickly the floor will raise but it won't be collideable
Woah woah woah, so you're saying that you are making kind of a game similar in style of the quest? If you do, will you marry me?
So anyone figured out floor 6? I brought something down from floor 4 to help but it doesn't seem to have made a difference
Eww... that's interesting. The chains should prevent you from pulling them when they're already active. I'll check that one. I wouldn't put it in those terms as I'm that one guy on Earth that DOESN'T like "The Quest", but yes, I am doing that Been down to 9b?
Yep there was nothing there except a journal and a weapon, and a monster I killed This is the second save game I'm stuck there, maybe I'm missing something obvious. I've checked all of 9b for hidden switches. Help!
Awesome! I don't want an exact copy of the quest, I'd like you to keep your own style also I just meant the same genre or whatever you call it. But wait you don't like the quest? Everyone, Burn the witch!
