Just to clear up a couple of other points..

We're in Coventry. I should have guessed you're in London based on your username :)

There are only Game Center leaderboards currently; no achievements.

Thanks for updating us chris. I realy look forward to what you have to offer in terms of updates. The good thing is, this is more of an actin puzzler, so levels can be replayed many times. Plus the promise of updates is always icing.

This game is simply wonderful. The sound, graphics and gameplay all make me smile. Peggle is great, but this is better!

My son was playing with my phone and I think he went back into the tutorial. When I next tried to play, all my progress was reset and all worlds locked again. This intentional? If not, FYI to all.

Hi deckard, the game should allow you to return to the tutorial as many times as you like without losing any progress.

It's possible that your son accidentally hit the "Reset Data" button that's found within the front end Settings Menu (it's the one that looks like a Toxic Biohazard symbol).

On the offchance that a bug has slipped through the net related to this, though, we'll double-check that this is airtight (although I've checked my version just now and I've retained my progress and unlocks).

Crikey! That's what he did then, thanks for clearing that up. Think I'll have to get this kid his own iDevice pretty soon.

Thanks for the reply Ishi. I was enquiring as one of your colleagues mentioned the April Bank Holiday which indicated that the Full Fat team was probably based in the UK.

The reason regarding why I asked, though, is because my brother is coming to the end of his degree in Computer Games Development and I was wondering what someone like him would have to do to join a games studio. Is there like an apprenticeship available? Or any work placements or internships?

I was also wondering whether the entire Full Fat team is based in Coventry or whether some of you guys work remotely?

And yes, you are correct. I am from London (as is my brother).

I forgot to ask. Is there any chance you could tell us roughly when the update is likely to be released - hopefully before the end of this month ;)

Kinda getting impatient here, lol :D

I had a work placement at a games company once, but that was organised through the university I was at (Teesside University). I don't think they're that common in the industry generally, though. The best thing to do is simply to apply for jobs, whether directly or through a recruitment agency, and to build up a portfolio in the meantime. If he wants any more specific information regarding jobs at Full Fat, it's best to go through the website. I can tell you we're all based in the one office though.

I can't really give any dates out regarding the new levels - we're working on them, we'll test the update thoroughly, we'll release it, and it'll be great fun!

Ok I know a level editor is a stupid idea but how about a coin editor? You know, similar to the car editor in JELLYCAR 3 (using your own photos, drawing etc)?

Hi userfume, thanks for your suggestion. It's definitely one of those ideas that's been bandied back and forth a couple of times between us, but it was a case of squeezing what we could into a 59p app that would offer everyone great value whilst still allowing us to get the app out there!

We already have the features for the next couple of updates outlined but, who knows, if the game becomes popular enough for even more updates beyond that then it's definitely something we can consider.

We'll be adding new coins in the upcoming planned updates, though (I definitely have a couple of new favourites in the new batch), so if you guys have any ideas for coins you'd like to see, let us know!

I'd definately prefer more levels to a level editor. Great game that went by too quickly (that said I'm still working on getting three stars on some of the levels).

The thing I most want to see added is profiles so I can share the game with my kids, instead of having them play the game for me. :( I suppose that's really an issue with Game Center, though. Game Center needs support for multiple profiles and easy switching between them, and within games, not in a settings app, with saves associated with profiles. Until then, though, I'd like the game itself to have it's own profiles/saves.

That would be a secret... for now.

Expect more than just a minimal-effort recycling of levels, though - you might have noticed that we like to introduce new mechanics to each world to keep things fresh, so expect this trend to continue ;)

I'd be fibbing if I said we were ignoring all of the people who didn't like shaking their devices, though - we absolutely want all of those boys and girls to love Coin Drop as much as we do, so a solution to this was fast-tracked to the top of the next update's feature list :)

I've always thought of the Bad Pennies to be the Euro representatives of this game :D

If there's demand for an official one then I suppose we could always try to squeeze one in (although we'd much prefer to get some more cute ones added to the list!)

Glad you enjoyed your playthrough of the game - hopefully you'll have all 180 stars by the time we get that new content to you! There's always the leaderboards to work your way up through too - there are some unbelievable scores up top now that have astonished us!
