Enjoying so far but just wanted to point out that the game doesn't play at full ipad resolution, there's a border right around so I'm guessing its using retina resoultion graphics, bit of a cheek I think calling it universal ( gets ready to duck! )
I love Flick Golf and Full Fat's soccer game. this doesnt have the flick in it that I am so fond of but might have to pick this up just to support the dev! And any comparison to Peggle is a win in my book
this game is great. Great graphics, feels super polished like the rest of Full Fat games. Unlockables, lots of levels, promised updates. But my one complaint is the same one that has already been mentioned. I am not a fan at all with shaking on this device. It takes away from the game more then it enhances it. There should be an alternative to this for sure, I don't think the whole shaking thing fits well in this game.
by the way, I dont think Full Fat get's the credit they deserve. Deadball Specialist, Flick Golf, and now this game are all superb and have remained on my iPhone since purchase! Their games are all fully polished and updated regularly. And not just small tweaks and bug fixes, Flick Golf got a substantial upgrade and this one is already promised whole new boards!
I was very much looking forward to writing a glowing review for this and then the flick mechanism appeared. Summed up perfectly by Unbrokenchain33, I am now hesitant to even play any further as really don't like to shake my device in any game. I can understand why it was implemented in Coin Drop due to the placement of certain collectable items, but I really cannot think of a game I have played where shaking felt natural. Not sure what an elegant alternative would be, Except on screen nudge buttons or redesigning the levels to eliminate the nudge feature altogether...
I am not too far into the game, but I do need feel the need to use the shake feature while playing. Either way I recommend this game to anyone and it is pretty challenging and addicting. If you like Peggle, you will like this.
Hmmm.. At this early stage I really don't think you can play this game without tilt... I will continue to play, but very skeptical... it is a great game, but tilt adds a level of frustration that Peggle avoids.
Is there anything in the game that uses swipe? That would be a simple alternative to shaking, just swipe upwards on the screen to nudge the coin up.
Game Impressions I love this game! Played a few levels and totally addicted! The graphivd are awesome and the gameplay very polished
some thoughts: Should be more ways to get points and bonuses and combos. More interaction with the flying things. Maybe points for hitting them a certain amount of times. I like how when hitting a ship or alien there is some animation, but no points are given, when you get points for everything else. I wouldn't want points for hitting the stationary moving objects, just the ones that float around the screen. Different amount of points for getting the coins in the bottom slots. Maybe have them randomly change, so there's incentive to hit certain ones. At least get more then 50 points for hitting the lit up slot even if it's not the 5th one. Bonus points for getting all 5 slots in a row or something. Bonus points for getting all 5 within a certain time limit or coin limit. Kind of boring how you automatically get 50 points per turn because the coin has to fall in one of the bottom slots. Bonus points for capturing the blue guys in a certain amount of coins. I think you should definitely get awarded for getting all the blue guys quickly as they are pretty easy to get. Bonus points for hitting pegs on consecutive turns. Bonus points for getting a coin frenzy or all the pegs with your last coin. Bonus points for getting multiple bonuses on the same drop. Oh and definitely an alternative to the shaking, maybe a swipe, or a little arrow button. Great job and keep up the work Full Fat, just giving my 2 cents on ways to improve!

I have to ask...is anything randomized in replays of levels? Will the blue ghosts always be in the same places for a given level?
some of the blue guys are moving throughout the levels, the gameplay seems to change a lot as you move throughout the game. Lots of moving parts
