This is to notify all potential Codea customers with iPad2's. I bought Codea last week, I've been on the fence about it for ages, I'm a very very noob coder, a very green beginner you'd say. Anyway I finally bought it last week and after downloaded it onto my 32gb wifi ipad2 it didn't work. When I hit the icon I get the loading screen and it goes straight back to the ipad. I have posted on the official codea forums and asked for help, most were friendly and I tried many different ideas they had, from killing all tasks, to doing a hard reset, redownloading codea and other stuff. It still fails to load. I asked 2-3 days ago on the codea forums for a refund, I told them the truth, I really want this working but as nothing I can do will get it working, I can't afford to throw £7 away. They never gave me a refund. Yesterday I emailed apple about the refund, about an hour ago I got a reply saying its not possible as I had a refund for a broken game in April. My £7 is gone. So I am saying, if you own and ipad3-4-5 then use codea, it looks good! BUT! if you have an ipad2 like me, DO NOT BUY!! you get no app and you lose your money! Very angry, dunno who I'm angry about though, codea staff or apple.
