I just bought power puff girls and I am enjoying it but I'm a bit annoyed that there are ads in a paid game.....
At least they were gutsy enough to indicate there are ads in the app description; insane stuff. I hadn't played PPG yet so was wondering if there really were ads...
To be honest I didn't read the App Store description closely enough to pick up on that. I've played a bit more and it doesn't seem to be that intrusive. Fun little game nevertheless
I got PPG but still haven't started it yet! What kind of ads are we talking about? Also what kind of game is calling all the Mixels!
Totally agree! That's what got me immersed in the game, love the Meteroiodvania aspect, the closest thing to the original, thanks again man.
Looking through reviews too many of these Cartoon Network games seem to border of freemium. Particularly Adventure Time - Card Wars (or like the advertisements in Powerpuff Girls); I picked a few up anyway but what would a sale thread be without and obligatory complaint about the scheaming nature of some Cartoon Network apps.
I have beaten ben 10 slammers a couple times now and have never spent past the entry fee. You can gauge the slammers worth before you even buy making it much easier to make your team. One of my favorite all time card games. It's more of a deck builder than ccg
Grabbed PPG. I cant believe I'm buying a game people say has ads in it. Guess I'll see how they are myself, but couldn't resist something by Radiangames. EDIT: Only ad I've seen thus far was before starting the game and it was for the $0.99 sale on some CN games. No banner ads or any kind of nastiness. Self promotion is fine IMO.
It is very basic. I'm sure they'll update it in a few months, but right now it's bare bones. For $.99 though, it's define you worth locking down. The main problem is the only thing you do is missions. No upgrades are carried along, and the story is pretty tame.
ben 10 slammers iap packs? So in "Ben 10 Slammers" can you earn the upgrade packs without paying for them (IAP packs)? from $0.99 to $9.99 IAP Packs
Yeah you can earn more than enough in game money between campaign and playing online to unlock everything in the game. It will take some "grinding" but I have so much fun with it that I don't consider it grinding. I was able to play through the campaign the second time without needing to repeat any battles or play online. Guess I just picked the right slammers
After digging deeper into PPG... definitely everyone that likes good metroidvania type games and especially anything by randiangames... get that Power Puff Girls game. Great stuff.
