Have the same issue.Deleted it because it stuck in "waiting" status and was unable to open without the update. I then couldn't re-download. It's been a few days now and getting close to requesting a refund as it doesn't seem to be comming back any time soon. For others - Do not currently buy this game as you will not be able download
@zen_mode @Cccee thanks for bringing this up so fast. This is extremely weird. Apparently iTunes can't find the .ipa on their servers. The iPhone is just getting nothing back while iTunes is listing an unaccessible URL where the game supposedly should be laying. I honestly have no idea whats going on here. In eight launched games we've never seen this and the Apple Developer Forums never listed such an issue. We contacted Apples Developer support to inquire about the problem, but it might be good to hold off on a purchase till this problem is fixed. This is really bad for us, since we've just gotten a five star review from Switzerlands biggest newspaper, so this could be costing us big time... damn
@JeremySpillmann Thanks for the code. I redeemed it through iTunes, went to the purchase history through the iPad and downloaded v1.0, which is compatible with my iOS 7.1.2. To avoid the language bug, prior to the first launch I set my device language to English, booted the game and, once everything worked, reset my device language to Spanish. This is not by far the solution, since by seeing the update history I guess v1.0 is affected with a bug where the game crashes if I die during an event, but at least I can play it. For everyone reading this, the game deserves 4-star IMO, but I DON'T recommend buying it if you're below iOS 8 unless the devs change their mind regarding minimum iOS version needed, mainly because you're out of the updates...
I was able to download the game on another device. I was able to update it on my iPad via WiFi. I like to keep backups of my apps on my desktop however, and I am still unable to download Cloud Chasers via iTunes. I still get the URL error. Other apps download okay. Thank you for your attention to this matter! Will watch for it to be fixed. N
Just to let you all know: It seems Apple resolved the .ipa linking error for Cloud Chasers. The Updates should synch properly now for everyone. All thats missing is now the language problems on Brazilian Portuguese and Italian devices. 1.0.3 is waiting for Review for that. Sorry for the problems everyone had. @VirtualBoyFreak: Ah, I'm glad you still were able to play the game that way and had a good time. But yea, it is a complicated workaround. We should have deployed the game from beginning on 8.0. This isnt really fair that way

Without getting to political about that idea I see it more about potentially Mecicans trying to immigrate into the U.S. And with Trump and others taking such harsh positions against many minorities and in particular Mexican Anericans I'm a bit uneasy with this game. Again, I'm thinking I'm missing something about this story and adventure bit that was my initial impression. If the developers choose to offer some proceeds of their to a minority group trying to fight for the rights of "humans" regardless of their race or country origin I'd buy this for sure but instead if the theme is changed to be viewed as a journey to a non description other planet its parallel to immigration legal or not makes me feel this exploits an issue of immigration today. Sorry to ramble but not sure how I truly feel about the game or premise. Some of the earliest stories have involved one or more characters journeying from point a to b and becoming changed in the process. That said, if it were about refugees, surely it's done in such a way as to humanise their plights, show you the peril these humans who are just like us, save having been born in a country turned into a desert from global warming and war, go through. It's certainly a million miles from Trump's twisted thinking. imdakine1 Well-Known Member Aug 23, 2011 1,228 22 38 #72 imdakine1, Jul 2, 2016 Thanks for your feedback as I didn't want to bring politics to a game but I recall seeing this when it was released and my initial reaction was immigration in the US from Mexico and how many are treated here in the U.S... With the Trump machine in full force it just made me think even more about this when I saw this go on sale. My mistake with assuming the worst and again am grateful for sharing your perspective on what looks like a artful and creative game. o0oJAKEo0o Well-Known Member May 23, 2012 322 1 16 Full-Time Student KCMO #73 o0oJAKEo0o, Sep 9, 2016 Wow!
