What I like the most is necessity of replaying each level with two different goals and approaches. It’s either to collect an item or 3 star the level as it’s impossible to do both at the same time. I love the game mechanics. Possibility (or requirement) to switch between round and spiked ball. Ability to inflate so it gains weight and size. Slow-motion passages when flying through the ice. Physics is great! Well worth the single IAP for $2.99/3,49€ to unlock the Full game. Highly recommended! Very polished puzzler/platformer. I hope it’s not gonna go unnoticed here! ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #3 ste86uk, Apr 9, 2020 Thanks for bumping the thread this looks cool and being able to check it out for free is great. I’ll download it right away. How many levels does it have? Although I’ll probably see that soon. @macplash if you like this you should check out Ordia too it’s amazing, similar gameplay and you have to beat the levels three times there also with different goals. macplash likes this. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #4 macplash, Apr 9, 2020 Yeah, I’m familiar with the game. Didn’t play it for whatever reason, but I’m aware of its existence. I’m gonna give it a try for sure. Thanks for the tip! ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #5 ste86uk, Apr 9, 2020 So far I like it and definitely will check it out further, my achievements in GC are popping up twice though. The only thing I find a bit irritating is even at my smallest size he doesn’t go where the line is telling me he will go. But I guess that’s with being in sticky mode too? But I just assumed the line would be exactly where he would go and if the line wasn’t interrupted by something it meant nothing was blocking the path for eg being caught on a corner instead of following the trajectory. Although I guess maybe it’s just a guide rather than exact? Also is there anyway to zoom out? I’d like to start the levels by seeing what’s ahead of me where at the moment it’s just a wild guess. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #6 macplash, Apr 9, 2020 Are you sure? Because I didn’t notice yet. The ball flies exactly where it supposed to fly. Especially at its spiky state. Unless it’s straight up which has its limits because of the weight and such. Oh, if you’re flying through ice for example then yeah, the trajectory is affected, however slightly. edit: the same goes for achievements. Works properly, no double unlocks or anything. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #7 ste86uk, Apr 9, 2020 I’ve had it show me he will go up through a passage and land on the top only for him to get caught on a corner at the start of the passage instead. Or like flinging up especially it’ll show you it will go up and land where you want it to but then when you fling it’ll get stuck to the side or underside of it when the line shown it landing on top. It’s probably all just the physics but with the line being there I just assumed it would follow it. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #8 macplash, Apr 9, 2020 @ste86uk which level exactly? Let me try. Because I made a quick video and you can see it flies exactly where it supposed to. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #9 macplash, Apr 9, 2020 You mean something like this? (See attached picture below) Why, of course! Just tap on the square button in upper right corner when you’re not zoomed in (because the icon changes itself to play icon then). —— Attached Files: C11B2343-B925-43D1-9214-2A6DE05AD04F.png File size: 972 KB Views: 3 ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #10 ste86uk, Apr 9, 2020 Thanks for the zooming out tip! I noticed it a lot on level 5 and level 7 orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #11 orangecan, Apr 10, 2020 I like this a lot so far but I’m utterly and completely stumped by the 3rd level -can Anyone help? I feel I’m missing something utterly obvious because the levels before and after it are easy, I just can’t work out how I’m meant to do it. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #12 macplash, Apr 10, 2020 @orangecan just for you, my friend: Just tap and hold to inflate - gain size and weight. Single tap is to switch between smooth and spiky ball. Then again, just tap and hold to deflate. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #13 orangecan, Apr 10, 2020 How on earth did I miss that? I would swear I never saw any prompt or tutorial that told me I could do that! thanks very much! ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #14 ste86uk, Apr 11, 2020 I got irritated trying to get 3 stars on level 8 and haven’t been back on since. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #15 macplash, Apr 11, 2020 Really? How come? It’s quite easy - just did it for you: ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #16 ste86uk, Apr 11, 2020 Never getting that bounce on the second platform going up, it just messed up each time and didn’t bounce where I wanted it and trying to aim for the platform from the one below is impossible to land to get it in the time and shots. I’ll give it another go tomorrow as I did the first bit in less shots and quicker but that bit kept messing it up for me and I won’t move on until I get 3 stars which I know you can feel like too. macplash likes this. macplash Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2014 2,645 1,103 113 Male 3D artist Munich, Germany #17 macplash, Apr 11, 2020 Oh, I feel it alright. You know me well. I absolutely get it. Just give it another try after a little bit of rest. It works like magic. I'm sure there's a much more difficult stuff ahead of us yet to come. The 2nd world already feels significantly harder. ste86uk likes this. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
