BoxUp is an App that dates back to Andrea Gilbert's 'clickmazes' website, circa early 2000s. Published as an iOS App (with Andrea's full participation) as 'Clickmazes BoxUp' some while ago, and last updated November 2014. The concept has been sometimes copied and we occasionally get emails pointing out similarities to new variations. We like to think our original is best but then, we would say that! We already made it free for a few days at New Year but if anybody missed that, and would still like to take a peek for comparison, here are some codes... Is it just me or does this look and play just like Rects? Personally I've not yet been able to install Rects, so can't really comment. From what I can see there does appear to be some similarity but some quite clever variations too, I don't think it is just a copy. I may even install it, when I get the chance, and fully expect to enjoy playing it ! We remain rather proud of original BoxUp. It's done OK since launch but now nearing third birthday in the App Store. But even so, who knows, we still live in hope it will one day yet it may be properly discovered 'big time'!? Andrea (of clickmazes.com) did in fact start a 'BoxUp' thread (in her own name) on TA day back at launch in 2012, but nobody took the bait to engage in dialogue PS: Ah, found Andrea's original, and lonely, launch thread... http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=137886&highlight=boxup damydam Well-Known Member Feb 12, 2015 50 0 0 #5 damydam, Mar 16, 2015 HMKWN7F7Y7H3 used Thank you so much drelbs Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 11,200 7 38 #6 drelbs, Mar 16, 2015 Used MAELFLH6HRPT Thanks! tkphotos Well-Known Member Jun 10, 2011 115 0 0 #7 tkphotos, Mar 16, 2015 Eyl3yxttrkax VisibleDucts Active Member Dec 26, 2014 37 0 6 #8 VisibleDucts, Mar 16, 2015 Think I tried the rest of the codes and unless I missed one, they've all been taken. To save people some time. P.S. If you take a code, please post saying which code you used. It's helpful for the rest of us =D Idle Complexities Active Member Dec 10, 2014 25 0 1 #9 Idle Complexities, Mar 16, 2015 Sorry if anybody wanted one and didn't get, but it actually makes my day to hear they've all been taken! As consolation, as mentioned, there's a free version too... https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/clickmazes-boxup-free/id554435824?mt=8&uo=4 Paid version just has more puzzles and in particular, more of the difficult ones... 20 each of 'Sneaky', Nasty', 'Beastly' vs 2 of each in the Free. And of course, free version has iAds, not too annoyingly though. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
