I'm beta-testing this and so far I'm enjoying every minute! Beatiful graphics, great controls, high replay-valuable! It's a fun game!
Here is the review for Clay's Reverie after play for several hours.. Feedback: -------------- -Difficult to get 5 full stars, you have to collect all stars and with full life. I left 1 life and collected all stars and it gives me 1.5/5 stars -Should include a confirm message like "touch to start" after lost a life. -Should have a checkpoint indicator on map. -Adding alternative path to pass that particular level would be great. e.g. level 2-3, you need to take every bomb power-ups in order to pass that level, so if you miss any bomb power-ups you are finished. -Spikes and walls are too sensitive, my platform is same level with those spikes and I can't go through. -Do you guys integrate with game center in future? -In future should include more levels, 20 levels are just too little. General Impression: --------------------------- -Game play is interesting, 3 types of power-ups for transformation, avoid all kinds of obstacles, and collect all stars (50 stars) -Game control is easy, tilt to move right or left, and move up and down with platform. -Game graphic is well polished in my opinion. -Interface is clean, simple, and user friendly. -Sound effect and background music is good. Just missing some sound effects like boom sound effect, and stone break all spikes sound effect. That's it for the feedback.
Okay so I love this game a lot, very fresh Here's what I like and what I don't. Do note, I've only played 2 levels Likes: -Awesome graphics and sounds -Responsive and original controls -Great level design What I don't like though is that getting 5 stars is tough, even on level 1. You should make level 1 easier as it's still a learning level and that's why it was tough to get 5 stars, after playing level 2 I got back there and then got 5 stars.
Yeah well I love the controls! Original and responsive, hope no one suggests to change them Levels are all great with a good smooth difficulty curve. I tried onee of the later levels, wow, it was tough! But yeah, thankfully it's not a straight jump to doom. I think you should disable having the opportunity to play any level. Like usually games like AB and CtR have. Not star based but just simply after completed next level unlocks. I also love the power ups, especially the bomb one. Only thing I want you to change is te star rating, its way too harsh.
My review: - Absolutely stunning game. The colors and animations pop out at me on my Iphone 4S. Beautifully drawn! - The controls are so intuitive and I was able to pick up and play. The rotation aspect keeps you on your feet and I got hooked pretty quickly. - I enjoy the star system because it makes you want to go back and collect them all and get a higher score. - I like how you can change from Slow to Normal speeds. This is a great addition for people who want an easier/harder experience. - The power ups are really useful for getting through tough obstacles. - The variation of level designs are brilliantly thought out and I never felt like I was playing the same level - The music is easy to listen to and never gets repetitive. Cons: - Sometimes when I died, the game would go back to place me before the obstacle, but it wouldn't place me in a good spot, so I kept on dying at the same spot until I had to restart. This only occurred once or twice, but it was sort of a pain to have to go back and play again. - At first I was having some difficulty with the first level, but after a couple of minutes I was able to pass. Maybe some sort of tutorial/easy level to begin the game would be a good idea. Suggestions: Game Center Support Boss Level? More Levels. Final Words: Beautiful game! I hope you guys do well in the app store!
I kinda agree that there should be checkpoints, because sometimes when you lose a life you respawn before an obstacle. A 'touch to start'-sign after you respawned would be helpful, indeed! As someone said, a tutorial level, where you learn how to use the 3 power-ups would be handy! Anyway, I like the game so far: smooth controls, beautiful graphics, addictive and original gameplay! In the future I would like to see: More levels, more power-ups and achievments (what I would like is a shop where u can buy skins for the main characte and different stuff, this isn't really important though so you could just ignore this )

I could swear I saw the thread for it earlier in the day, and then saw people posting in here like it wasn't out. Like I said, I'm not sure why it's out considering the dev said it was due on the 25th, but...ummm...yeah.
