    It's simple. Devs used to use interstitial forced ads to generate revenue. That usually generates negative feedback. Using opt in ads where the player chooses when and where to view them, and in return receives some sort of in game currency is much better. Not forcing people to do things is better. The Dev receives Continuous ad revenue with generally good feedback scores and the players receive extra currency which can really be of value and worth the time. It's a win win. I will go out of my way to watch an ad while on wifi to give a Dev money that doesn't force me to watch ads.

    Now mind you I would much prefer and always go for premium titles first and foremost. But, opt in ads or ok by me.
