I was never a CoC fan, so I almost just dismissed this one as "just another CoC game". I'm glad I ended up trying it out. It's actually pretty good. I'm getting my ass kicked all over, but it's still fun.
I find the game to be pretty engrossing as well - currently hovering around 900 trophies. I find myself playing during chest waits simply because its fun and I'm always looking for new strategies. I'm averaging 50% W/L, maybe a bit higher...but this is the same as CoC, you push against a trophy wall which is based on your skill and unit level and then you drift back down to a normal operating range. I think its a brilliant game
The button on the main fight menu that looks like a target is the Practice Camp. Go there for matches without stakes against a comparable AI.
Loving this game. Gripping gameplay that makes it super easy to just play a couple. Really happy with it so far. Would love to be able to pay to have multiple chest unlocks at once, similar to getting more builders in clash.
Well people are using towers and then use buildings which spawn troops such as barbarians, goblins and skeletons to apply pressure. When combined with a Witch it can it lead to quite a distraction on one side with ck constant troops being spawned as if you leave them you will get swarmed. This can also then free up time to drop something big the other side. I really want the crossbow as its great to place on one size of the map as it can hit their bases.
This might be some crazy talk, but this is actually pulling me away from Hearthstone. I've never played Clash of Clans.
Can anyone explain why or how I get different chests? Why and how did I get both a gold and a magical chest today (different times). Is it random or did I do something I wasn't aware of? Obviously just started playing so not too familiar with how the chests are dropped. Anyone care to explain?
Anyone want to form a TouchArcade2 clan? UPDATE: Doh! Costs 1000 gold to create a clan, which I don't have.
Mine opens at 1am. I'm hoping SuperCell will significantly reduce the timer delays before worldwide release, based on the widespread criticism. Although everyone seems to love the game itself.
Sucks that I have to wait until level 3 to link it to my iPhone, getting exp slow while waiting between chests. Any tips for those goblin houses? Facing people with all sorts of stuff I don't have yet
I think it broke with yesterdays update. It was seamlessly auto-linked to my ipad2 2 days ago (Even before level3 which they say is the minimum). But yesterday it failed to link to my ipad mini no matter what I tried (Even after reaching level3), hope it's fixed.
Np! Yeah those magical chests are crazy rare. I've only gotten one so far. Please do share what ya get
1 witch (epic) 2 Valkyries and 2 mini PEKAS and 1 giant Rest were commons but got enough to level up my knight to level 5 Witch any good?
Witch is really good. They annoy the heck out of me lol. I havent unlocked her yet so I couldnt really tell ya a strat. All I can tell you is that shes good at applying pressure in many situations and is good at taking out hordes of low hp troops. She has a decent amount of health, a fast attack speed, does splash damage, and summons skeletons I see them being used a lot on TV royale so I recommend checking those replays out to see how to use them properly.
