The four group members consist of the shinobigatana-wielding ninja Akira, the staff-striking Reina, the dual sword-swinging Daiki, and the sickle-slashing monk Tarou. After years of training and dedication to their respective craft, each character has uncovered their own unique magical abilities. Akira shoots pulse-filled lightning bolts, Reina controls the ground with vicious earthquake shocks, Daiki swirls up brutal tornado waves, and Tarou can call for the help of Dragons. Story Akuji is a former samurai of the Clan N that discovered the balance of the world lies in three areas: Peace, Knowledge, and Time. Akuji found that if you knock the world of one of these, you can harness the powers of “spiritual imbalance” and grow stronger from it. As a result of pursuing spiritual imbalance, he was shunned from the samurai temple and kicked out of Clan N. What Akuji didn’t know was that attaining spiritual imbalance would not only give you dark powers, it consumed your light and the purity of your life. Following his banishment from the temple and Clan N, Akuji was able to destroy peace by slaughtering villages and retain the power of those he killed, thus absorbing conflict and electric sorcery abilities, becoming the most powerful sorcerer warrior in the Far East. While he continued to grow, Akuji formed Seishin Gun, the spirit group, to join his conquest and remove anyone standing in their path. Once his actions were discovered by Clan N, they set on a journey to stop the villainous pillaging by Akuji and Seishin Gun. About the Characters Reina and Daiki grew as siblings in a southern samurai clan. Reina was not taught the teaching of the clan like her brother Daiki but still observed and learned the ways mastering the staff. She eventually took onto Shamanism as well becoming one of the first shinobi shamans in the land as a young woman. Akira was a childhood friend adopted into the clan as a lost child wandering in the outer lands chased by a pack of wolves, barely making it to the village. Daiki’s father took the child in and raised them, although Akira typically covers himself from head to after severe scarring. Tarou was from the same monastery as Akuji (prior to his joining of Clan N) and learned under the same teachers. Akuji returned to the Monk’s temple many years later and stole an ancient scroll that explained how to destroy the pillars of balance and extract their spiritual imbalance. In pursuit of Akuji, Tarou traced his steps to Clan N. After explaining the situation to the existing three members, they all decided to team up and take down Akuji. Information Seller:Klik! It seems totally unplayable, at least for me. Anyone figure them out and care to explain? Also there an ad removal IAP listed, but I don’t see any IAP store or option. AltsKev Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2016 566 157 43 Male Developer #3 AltsKev, Mar 5, 2021 Same for me for the control, its unplayable for me too MetaGonzo Well-Known Member May 7, 2009 1,459 271 83 #4 MetaGonzo, Mar 5, 2021 Yep. I’d like to work out the controls but I’m stuck right at the start in what is obviously the tutorial. There’s 4 training dummies that it’s telling me to attack but I can’t progress past it. I attack them and it just keeps cycling through them; there’s no way to complete that bit and no way to advance. This poor game has led a troubled life so far! mgambino Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2014 159 95 28 #5 mgambino, Mar 5, 2021 You can actually just keep running towards the right on the tutorial, you don’t actually have to do anything. Moving is one of the things I could figure out... it’s just really clunky. I do hope they get the controls tightened up because I like the art style and am always down for a brawler with ninjas. MetaGonzo Well-Known Member May 7, 2009 1,459 271 83 #6 MetaGonzo, Mar 5, 2021 So you can. It seemed like it stopped me there before but now I go back I see that it’s just the way the screen pauses and then carries on scrolling at that point. Unfortunate but at least I can carry on. Thank you. The controls though... I’ll try it with a controller; would be great to have some sorted touch controls though. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,972 722 113 England #7 psj3809, Mar 5, 2021 Had high hopes when it seems to show a virtual joystick but its painful on those steps with the training dummies Why not just have a hit icon on the right hand side ? Seems you have to 'slide' through the dummy to try and hit it automatically. I wish devs would see when controls work wise and mimic those. Just have a punch/hit button on the side mgambino Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2014 159 95 28 #8 mgambino, Mar 5, 2021 Yeah, it seems like hitting is based on sliding back and forth, as far as I can tell. I’m not sure if there is any other way to normally attack other than rolling back and forth. And I guess doing something lets you block? psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,972 722 113 England #9 psj3809, Mar 5, 2021 Yeah the sliding thing isn’t great. So would want a button. Presume it hasn’t been through user testing as surely that would have been mentioned MetaGonzo Well-Known Member May 7, 2009 1,459 271 83 #10 MetaGonzo, Mar 5, 2021 I tried it with a controller. It worked when pressing A (Xbox) to skip the intro but from then on no inputs were recognised. Usual cycle of toggling Bluetooth, restarting phone etc. was fruitless. mgambino Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2014 159 95 28 #11 mgambino, Mar 5, 2021 I wonder if they accidentally released the beta again? Ozden79 Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2009 313 9 18 #12 Ozden79, Mar 5, 2021 Hey Everybody, Developer here! In Clan N, I decided to use a swipe/touch oriented controls which fits the hectic gameplay much better, if you don't use a real controller to play the game. It actually pretty easy when you get used to so will just explain it in here ; Touching the left side of the screen than moving will move your character. Once you release your finger, this will cause your character to attack. You can do quick swipes to just attack. If you just tap the same left area, your character will throw shuriken/knife. As for the right side, a touch will make your character block and a swipe will make your character tumble. That's all! Since the release yesterday, I literally received thousands of complaints about it and as requested, implemented a traditional stick/button combination which puts a move stick and 7 buttons on the screen which will allow you to play the game as you would do with a real gamepad. This will be the new default with the update and from the settings, you'll be able to change the way the touch interface works. Regarding the tutorial level, there is nothing to complete there and everything is practice purposes. You can kick/punch the scarecrows as much as you want or just can walk by to reach the end of this special level without doing anything, it's up to you. I'll submit this new controller update in a moment and can answer if you may have any questions? Stay safe and keep gaming! LiQuiD likes this. Ozden79 Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2009 313 9 18 #14 Ozden79, Mar 5, 2021 I fell the same way, too and was going to use that as default but than thought people are expecting move from left thumb (someone had reminded me that in the upcoming thread of this game) so decided against it. This is still the way I prefer but now we have traditional virtual stick/button combination as default with the upcoming update. mgambino Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2014 159 95 28 #15 mgambino, Mar 5, 2021 Hey thanks for listening to feedback. I have a question and a comment. 1: Where is IAP to remove adds? I was actually going to buy it even with the controls, just assuming I’d either get used to them or there would be an update. I couldn’t pass on a game that has 4 ninjas beating people up. 2. I’ve played around with the controls, and I think I see what you were going for... but I’m old and just can’t wrap my brain around a brawler without buttons. Also, maybe the sliding controls would have been better for me if the game had “smack me in face” tutorial. In general the tutorial kind of stinks, but the first 2 stages of level 1 were exactly what I wanted from this game. AltsKev Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2016 566 157 43 Male Developer #16 AltsKev, Mar 5, 2021 Got it, in fact it's not like a pad, you don't need to move your finger, just keep touching in one direction without moving on the d-pad mgambino Well-Known Member Aug 13, 2014 159 95 28 #17 mgambino, Mar 5, 2021 I eventually figured them out more or less, I just know how quick people are to dump a release if they can’t figure out controls or just don’t like then. Since your actually responding on this forum and listening to players, you’re already steps beyond many devs... and I like everything else the game, so I want to be successful so it continues to be supported. Also, I still don’t get how the IAP works. I can’t actually support something by paying for an ad dumper if I can’t find it. Ozden79 Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2009 313 9 18 #18 Ozden79, Mar 5, 2021 The in-game shop can be reached from the Pause menu as a shortcut. In the original PC/Console version you actually enter the shıp buildings you see through the levels and they are also available in mobile version when you come by. Regarding the controls, since I also implemented the most know layout, I'll leave to people on choosing what they feel is the best for them, since preferences always changes . Thanks! I want it to succeed it too and I believe it is crucial to listen to your audience so I'm always happy to hear any kind of feedback! psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,972 722 113 England #19 psj3809, Mar 7, 2021 That’s far better. Lots of on screen buttons but works far better for me personally Got through the tutorial and now attacking people. It’s like a zoomed out double dragon a bit. But enjoying it and hope there’ll be lots of different levels. Ozden79 Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2009 313 9 18 #20 Ozden79, Mar 7, 2021 Glad you liked it and a few minutes ago I released another update which allows you to change the virtual gamepad size and a bunch of other fixes. There are quite a bit of variety in levels and even some recognizable minigames. I also suggest to play along with bot players as it changes the overall experience as well. For interested people, here's the full list of changes in the latest update : - Added "Classic Virtual Gamepad" which is the default way to play now. - Added size customization for "Virtual GamePad", available under "Pause" menu. - Fixed "Stage 2-3" crash and enemy getting stuck issue on "Stage 1-8". - Temporarily removed "Stage 3-11" minigame and will be restored once a permanent fix is available. - Fixed a crash which may occur on Tutorial level if you use your special attack. - You can now add bots with touch on character selection screen when you play with real gamepad.
