Glad you did so I didnt do a wrong recommendation for you. :p I tried to answer your question because it is funny as I have asked the same question during beta test phrase. And according to the dev it was design this way due to game balancing. :)

If I am losing 3-4 dragons an hour just for idling and not attacking is that fair? It takes longer then that just to make one (and the resources)

How do you get new units? Unless almost everyone had bought tons of gold to constantly skip upgrades, I still don't even have the buildings for archers.

It sucks getting to a point where I can't progress my raiding because all I have are soldiers and almost everyone has freaking dragons.

There are little quest-like missions you can take eventually that will help with efficiency and getting new buildings and the men that can be made that can fill them. Dragons is one of the last quests you take so you will have to have patience. The 4th button on the bottom menu (between hammer and sword) and looks like the ground struck by lightning is where you go to pick them up. Build up food and then your buildings so you don't cap yourself in the people you can make. The game can be deep but it's not over complicated. The best advice I can give is not to move too fast in the group size you are attacking and with everything you buy / get pay attention to the numbers on top of your screen to see what went up or what is now going down. Maybe sometime I will make a small post on what affects what (although I think people are losing part of the fun in discovery)

I'm doing well for myself (so far population is 10k+ with a max of 20k and over 200k caps on all materials). But if dragon is so far away considering I don't even have archer yet then why do so many people have them. Is the game server the same as the one that's been released since soft release? If so then I understabd, just stinks I jumped into raiding so fast and now am basically screwed. I'm constantly wasting 1-2k soldiers because of all the dragons. And that's if I win.

The reason is some people played the prerelease version (which everyone in forum was invited to express interest if they wanted to help test it). As a result people who tested it had a early start (by about a week or two). If you are dedicated you can pass many of them up but if you have played any clicker there is a amount of patience to be had for timers.

    What do cats do?

Are there stats for the Warriors?
    Do archers best soldiers?
    Do Knights best archers?
    Dragons kill all?

    Help

    Soon...keep an eye out ;)

Thanks for these questions-- we're updating the Help page in realtime as inquiries come in! I can't share the exact stats, but archers are slightly better than soldiers, knights are approximately twice as powerful as soldiers, and approximately 100 soldiers can take down a dragon.

I can't comment on cats at the moment :).

TrencH said it well. Also, dragons are strong, but they aren't the be-all and end-all. You can take down a dragon with around 100 soldiers (sometimes more, sometimes even significantly fewer), and you'll be cranking out thousands of soldiers in no time.

Cats!?!?! Now I really want to know hahah.

Great game I'm totally diggin it.

I have 11k soldiers and I can burn thru dragons pretty easy.

Havnt unlocked archers or knights those are soon I hope.

    Cats... Need to know.

    Oh yeah what about cats.

I know it's by design but I can click thru 1000 new villagers much faster than the auto 1000 generates them (11 minutes). Does everything need a timer? Once I get to being able to create 10,000 or more i am already dreading what the wait for that will be.

Also - only way to earn coins is leveling up village by tapping resources at this time?

    Thanks again!

Ahh the pre release explains it then. I was just confused how so many could be so far ahead when I thought it was just released not even two days ago.

Glad to see I'm not necessarily making mistakes just some had a head start. Loving it so far though great job!

Thanks for trying it out, dudecoolguy! I posted the upgrade chain a bit earlier for archers (should be somewhere around page 1-3 of the thread).

Correct, it's by design that you can tap individual units faster than you can generate them in bulk with timers. The timers are only there to allow players to churn out larger numbers of units in the background without penalizing those who would rather tap them out individually for maximum efficiency. We never want players to be stuck in a situation where all they can do is wait for timers. Our games always use gentle, non-essential monetization. As for the 10,000 bulk units, the timers aren't crazy. In fact, I believe they're less than 10x the timers for 1,000 units.

You can also earn gold by rating the game or by being a member of one of the top clans in the weekly Conquest.

Do only the top three clans earn gold or is that all that is shown in the clan screen? I'd hope more then only 3 clans earn gold. That's a ton of free gold for players that are obviously already ahead of the game.

Even if we allowed for attacking smaller opponents, the payouts are relatively greater for attacking larger ones, so you wouldn't have much incentive. If you spend a bit more time building up your army you'll be able to take down the next level of civ. And the payouts will be worthwhile :)

Hey fearlesskk, we've updating the Help menu as we get questions, so I'm very sorry for the confusion! Land can be acquired by conquering other civilizations in raids.

Thanks Unstablefan! We've rebalanced almost everything, and added/removed a good number of units and upgrades. If you're familiar with the web game then you'll start noticing changes almost right off the bat.

    Thanks so much, kopicha :)

    Well thanks!!

Skulls reset every week. I don't want to rain on the TA clans' parade, but after this week ends it's going to be a free-for-all. Brand new, post-launch clans are going to be in competition immediately. Hopefully these guys are watching their backs ;)

Oh ok that's real good to know. One question though.

One guy in my clan has 500 trophies but no skulls. How is that possible?

Skulls are tied to the clan you're in, so if you leave a clan they zero out.

Trophies are a permanent stat, basically your Career Wins. They're more for bragging rights; the weekly gold contest uses Skulls, not Trophies.

I am loving this. Unlike some clickers (some of which are pretty good) this one has a point and a goal. MY question, since the devs are practically living here, is, can I play the same game on two devices (phone and tablet), can I cloud save and pick up where I left off?
